Özet

ÖZET Van şehri adlı bu çalışmamızda 1918 yılı sonrasında Van şehrini incelemeye çalıştık. Bu çalışmamızda şehrin tüm fonksiyonlarını belli bir sistem içinde inceledik. Kentteki hakim ekonomik faaliyet hangisidir? Şehrin nüfus ve yerleşim özelliklerinde fonksiyonların etkisi nasıldır? Fonksiyonların şehirleşmedeki ve şehrin gelişimindeki etkisi nasıl olmaktadır. Şehirdeki fonksiyonları ve dağılışlarını göz önünde bulundurarak şehrin sorunları ve mevcut durumu hakkında çözüm yollan bulmaya çalıştık. Van şehrinin en büyük sıkıntısı nüfusunun artmasından dolayı ortaya çıkan sorunlar şehrin alt yapı, eğitim,sağlık ve yerleşme üzerindeki olumsuz etkisidir. Güvenlik problemi nedeniyle de özel sektörün yatırım yapmaktan kaçınması, devlete ait tesislerin ise bu sebepten ötürü veriminin azalmasıdır. SUMMARY We tried to examine Van city after 1918 in our research titled Van City. In our research, we examined all functions of the city within the framework of a certain system. Which is the dominant economical activity in the city? What is the impact of these functions on the population and inhabitation properties of the city? How do the functions affect urbanization and improvement of the city? We tried to find means of solution about the problems and the current situation of the city taking into consideration the functions and their distribution in the city. The biggest trouble of Van city is the adverse effects of population increase on the infrastructure, education, health and inhabitation of the city. Another problem is private sector's refraining from making investments in the city because of security problems and the productivity decrease of the plants pertaining to the state for the same reason.

ÖZET Van şehri adlı bu çalışmamızda 1918 yılı sonrasında Van şehrini incelemeye çalıştık. Bu çalışmamızda şehrin tüm fonksiyonlarını belli bir sistem içinde inceledik.
