Özet
Yedinci sanat olarak kabul edilen sinema, Hz. Peygamber'i anlatmada kullanılması gereken önemli bir araçtır. Mamafih edebi türlerden roman, hikâye, tiyatro ve şiir ile Hz. Peygamber'i tanıtma yönünde çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Ancak sinemayla onu tanıtma konusunda İslam dünyası sinema sanatının gereklerinden kaynaklı çekimser bir tutum sergilemiştir. Hz. Musa, Hz. İsa ve diğer peygamberlerle ilgili çok sayıda film çekilmesine rağmen Hz. Peygamber'in hayatını anlatan sınırlı sayıda film yapılmıştır. Çalışmamızın amacı Hz. Peygamber'i sinemada tanıtma noktasında yeterlilik ve yetersizliklerimizi bilimsel bir zeminde tartışmaktır. Bu sebeple Hz. Peygamber'in hayatını doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak ele alan on filmi inceleyerek sinemada Hz. Peygamber'i ortaya koymaya çalıştık. Özellikle ilk filmlerde kullanılan kostüm, makyaj, dekor veya gerçek mekân gibi mizansen unsurların yetersiz olduğunu tespit ettik. Bu yetersizlikleri giderme noktasında önerimiz, Hz. Peygamber'i sinemada tanıtma girişiminde bulunacak her yönetmenin, senaristin hem dini hem tarihi bilgilerin sinemaya aktarılması aşamasında mutlaka işin uzmanlarına başvurup yardım almalarıdır.

Cinema, recognized as the seventh art, is an important tool that should be utilized in portraying the Prophet. However, efforts have been made to introduce the Prophet through literary genres such as the novel, short story, theater, and poetry. However, regarding the use of cinema to introduce him, the Islamic world has adopted a hesitant stance due to the requirements of the cinematic art form. Although numerous films have been made about Prophet Moses, Prophet Jesus, and other prophets, only a limited number of films have been produced depicting the life of the Prophet. The aim of our study is to discuss our strengths and weaknesses in introducing the Prophet through cinema on a scientific basis. For this reason, we have sought to depict the Prophet in cinema by analyzing ten films that directly or indirectly address the Prophet's life. Prophet's life, we sought to portray the Prophet in cinema. We identified particular shortcomings in the mise-en-scène elements -such as costumes, makeup, sets, or real locations- used in the early films. To address these shortcomings, our recommendation is that any director or screenwriter undertaking an effort to portray the Prophet in cinema must consult experts in the field and seek their assistance during the process of adapting both religious and historical knowledge for the screen.
