This thesis examines the problem of the human and society in Nietzsche's philosophy within the framework of the concept of the will to power. In Nietzsche's thought, the will to power is not merely an effort to preserve existence, but rather a creative and transformative drive through which life is interpreted, values are posited, and meaning is produced. Within this perspective, the human being is not an inert entity defined by a fixed and universal essence, but a dynamic process of becoming that carries the potential for self-overcoming within historical and social conditions. By taking this conception of the human as its point of departure, the thesis aims to render visible Nietzsche's critique of the modern, rational, morality-centered, and conformist model of humanity. The study investigates how social structures and moral value systems function as mechanisms that suppress the individual's will to power. According to Nietzsche, society predominantly compels individuals into passivity through herd morality, producing a life-denying order sustained by values such as equality, obedience, and guilt. This condition undermines the individual's capacity to create values and distances the human being from becoming the active subject of their own existence. In this context, the thesis analyzes the power relations underlying social values through the distinction between slave morality and master morality. In conclusion, this study argues that the concept of the will to power plays a constitutive role in explaining the tension between the individual and society in Nietzsche's philosophy. The will to power enables both a critique of prevailing social values and the emergence of a life-affirming, creative, and transformative mode of existence for the individual. From this perspective, the thesis demonstrates that Nietzsche's approach to the problem of the human and society offers a powerful philosophical framework for rethinking modern human existence.
