Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, COVID-19 pandemisi sürecinde amatör çoksesli koroların sanatsal faaliyetlerini sürdürmek için geliştirdikleri prova prensiplerinin, koro eğitimine ve koro müziğine getirdiği yenilikler bağlamında incelenmesidir. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan durum çalışması modeli kapsamında yürütülmüş; veri toplama aracı olarak ise yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle sistematik biçimde çözümlenmiştir. Çalışma grubunu, belirtilen illerde faaliyet gösteren iki farklı amatör koro (Rezonans ve Jazzberry Tunes) ile bu korolarda görev yapan toplam 11 korist ve 2 koro şefi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma bulguları, pandemi sürecinin amatör çoksesli koroların prova, konser ve repertuvar belirleme süreçlerinde köklü değişimlere yol açtığını göstermektedir. Provalar büyük ölçüde dijital platformlar aracılığıyla yürütülmüş; bireysel ses eğitimi, teorik müzik bilgisi, nefes ve vokal egzersizleri çevrim içi ortamda sürdürülmüştür. Katılımcılar, sanatsal sürekliliği sağlamak amacıyla video montajlı konserler, sanal kayıt projeleri, interaktif müzik atölyeleri ve çevrim içi söyleşiler gibi alternatif yöntemlere başvurmuşlardır. Repertuvar seçiminde ise lojistik kısıtlar ve dönemin ruhsal atmosferi dikkate alınarak küçük topluluklara uygun akapella eserler ve tematik içerikler tercih edilmiştir. Araştırma, dijitalleşmenin koro müziği pedagojisi üzerindeki etkilerini inceleyerek değerlendirmekte ve benzer kriz durumlarında koro müziğinin sürdürülebilirliğine yönelik stratejik çıkarımlar sunmaktadır.

The purpose of this study is to examine the rehearsal principles developed by amateur polyphonic choirs to sustain their artistic activities during the COVID-19 pandemic within the context of the innovations they brought to choral education and choral music. The study was conducted using the case study model, one of the qualitative research methods, and a semi-structured interview form was utilized as the data collection tool. The obtained data were systematically analyzed through the content analysis method. The study group consists of two different amateur choirs (Rezonans and Jazzberry Tunes) operating in the specified provinces, comprising a total of 11 choristers and 2 choir conductors active in these choirs. Research findings indicate that the pandemic process led to radical changes in the rehearsal, concert, and repertoire determination processes of amateur polyphonic choirs. Rehearsals were largely conducted through digital platforms; individual voice training, theoretical music knowledge, breathing, and vocal exercises were maintained in online environments. To ensure artistic continuity, participants resorted to alternative methods such as video-edited concerts, virtual recording projects, interactive music workshops, and online interviews. In terms of repertoire selection, a cappella pieces suitable for small ensembles and thematic contents were preferred, taking into account logistical constraints and the spiritual atmosphere of the period. By analyzing and evaluating the effects of digitalization on choral music pedagogy, the study offers strategic implications for the sustainability of choral music in similar crisis situations.
