Özet

Bu çalışmada hemşire ve ebelerin hümanist davranma becerileri ile mahremiyet algısı düzeylerinin belirlenmesi ve aralarındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı türde yürütülen çalışmanın verileri, Şubat 2025–Eylül 2025 tarihleri arasında çevrim içi veri toplama yöntemi (Google Formlar) kullanılarak araştırmanın dahil edilme kriterlerini karşılayan 400 hemşire ve ebeden toplanmıştır. Hemşire ve ebelere gönderilen çevrim içi veri toplama formunun ilk sayfasında çalışmanın dahil edilme ve dışlanma kriterleri ile bilgilendirilmiş onam formu yer almıştır. Kriterlere uygun olduğunu ve bilgilendirilmiş onam doğrultusunda çalışmaya katılmayı kabul ettiğini beyan eden (onay kutucuğunu işaretleyen) hemşire ve ebeler çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Veriler“Kişisel Bilgi Formu”,“Hemşirelik Uygulamalarında Hümanist Davranma Becerisi Ölçeği (HUHDBÖ)”ve“Hasta Mahremiyet Ölçeği (HMÖ)”kullanılarak toplanmış; verilerin analizinde IBM SPSS 27 paket programı ve uygun istatistiksel yöntemler kullanılmıştır. Hemşirelerin yaş ortalaması 32,24±7,81, ebelerin yaş ortalaması ise 31,47±8,07'dir. Hemşirelerin HUHDBÖ toplam ve beş alt boyut (Hemşirelik İletişim Becerisi, Psikolojik Uyum Becerisi, Etik ve Yasal Konuları Uygulama Becerisi, Estetik Hemşirelik Becerisi, Pratik Bakım Becerisi) puan ortalamaları sırasıyla 124,44±14,65, 30,48±4,15, 16,42±2,81, 30,56±3,98, 11,85±2,21, 35,13±4,55 olarak belirlendi. Ebelerin HUHDBÖ toplam ve beş alt boyut (Hemşirelik İletişim Becerisi, Psikolojik Uyum Becerisi, Etik ve Yasal Konuları Uygulama Becerisi, Estetik Hemşirelik Becerisi, Pratik Bakım Becerisi) puan ortalamaları sırasıyla 123,10±15,70, 29,75±4,10, 15,87±2,99, 31,08±4,18, 11,86±2,21, 34,53±4,84 olarak belirlendi. Hemşire ve ebelerin HUHDBÖ toplam puan ortalamaları ise 123,60±15,32 olarak belirlendi. Hemşirelerin HMÖ toplam puan ve beş alt boyut (Özel Hayat/Kişisel Bilgilerin Gizliliği, Cinsiyete İlişkin Mahremiyet, Kendini Koruyamayanların Mahremiyeti, Bedensel Mahremiyet, Uygun Ortam Sağlama) puan ortalamaları 126,44±9,51, 46,68±3,81, 22,62±2,46, 18,93±1,59, 19,09±1,63, 19,13±1,51; ebelerin HMÖ toplam puan ve beş alt boyut (Özel Hayat/Kişisel Bilgilerin Gizliliği, Cinsiyete İlişkin Mahremiyet, Kendini Koruyamayanların Mahremiyeti, Bedensel Mahremiyet, Uygun Ortam Sağlama) puan ortalamaları 124,87±13,21, 45,79±5,25, 22,49±2,94, 18,76±2,06, 18,94±2,11, 18,90±2,11 olarak belirlendi. Hemşire ve ebelerin HMÖ toplam puan ortalaması ise 125,45±11,98 olarak belirlenmiştir. Hemşire ve ebelerin HUHDBÖ ve HMÖ toplam puanları arasında orta düzeyde pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki bulundu. HUHDBÖ puanı, hasta mahremiyetini ihlal etme ve hümanistik bakım hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak değişkenlerinin HMÖ puanını yordadığı saptanmıştır (R2=0,33, p<0,001). Sonuç olarak, hemşire ve ebelerin hümanistik bakım becerileri arttıkça mahremiyete yönelik algılarının da arttığı görülmüştür. Bu doğrultuda, hümanistik bakım becerilerinin geliştirilmesi, sağlık hizmeti sunumunda mahremiyetin daha etkin bir şekilde korunmasına katkı sağlayabilir.

The aim of this study was to determine the levels of humanistic behaviour skills and perceptions of privacy among nurses and midwives, and to examine the relationship between them. The data for this descriptive and correlational study were collected between February 2025 and September 2025 using an online data collection method (Google Forms) from 400 nurses and midwives who met the study's inclusion criteria. The first page of the online data collection form sent to nurses and midwives included the study's inclusion and exclusion criteria, along with an informed consent form. Nurses and midwives who declared that they met the criteria and agreed to participate in the study in accordance with the informed consent (by ticking the consent box) were included in the study. Data were collected using the“Personal Information Form”, the“Humanistic Practice Ability of Nursing Scale (HPANS)”and the“Patient Privacy Scale (PPS)”; IBM SPSS 27 software and appropriate statistical methods were used for data analysis. The mean age of nurses was 32.24±7.81, whilst that of midwives was 31.47±8.07. The mean scores for nurses on the HPANS total and five sub-dimensions (Nursing communication abilit, Psychological adjustment ability, Ethics and legal application ability, Nursing esthetic ability, Caring practical ability) were 124.44±14.65, 30.48±4.15, 16.42±2.81, 30.56±3.98, 11.85±2.21, and 35.13±4.55, respectively. The midwives' total HPANS scores and the mean scores for the five sub-dimensions (Nursing communication abilit, Psychological adjustment ability, Ethics and legal application ability, Nursing esthetic ability, Caring practical ability) were 123.10±15.70, 29.75±4.10, 15.87±2.99, 31.08±4.18, 11.86±2.21, 34.53±4.84, respectively. The mean total HPANS scores for nurses and midwives were determined to be 123.60±15.32. The total PPS scores and scores for the five sub-dimensions (Confidentiality of personal information and private life, Sexual privacy, The privacy of those unable to protect themselves, Physical privacy, Ensuring a favorable environment) for nurses were 126.44±9.51, 46.68±3.81, 22.62±2.46, 18.93±1.59, 19.09±1.63, 19.13±1.51, and midwives' total PPS scores and five sub-dimensions (Confidentiality of personal information and private life, Sexual privacy, The privacy of those unable to protect themselves, Physical privacy, Ensuring a favorable environment) were determined as 124.87±13.21, 45.79±5.25, 22.49±2.94, 18.76±2.06, 18.94±2.11, 18.90±2.11. The average total PPS score for nurses and midwives was found to be 125.45±11.98. A moderate positive and statistically significant relationship was found between the total scores of the HPANS and the PPS among nurses and midwives. The HPANS score, having knowledge about patient privacy violations, and having knowledge about humanistic care were identified as significant predictors of the PPS score (R2=0,33, p<0,001). In conclusion, it is observed that as nurses' and midwives' humanistic care skills increase, so does their perception of privacy. Accordingly, the development of humanistic care skills may contribute to the more effective protection of privacy in the provision of healthcare services.
