Özet
Bu çalışma, Osmanlı İttihat ve Terakkî Cemʿiyeti Şehzâdebaşı Kulübü Heyet-i İlmiyyesi tarafından iki cilt hâlinde neşredilen Mevâʿiz-i Dîniyye adlı eserin transkripsiyonunu ve tarihî bağlam içindeki değerlendirmesini konu edinmektedir. II. Meşrutiyet sonrasında kaleme alınan bu eser, görünürde vaaz ve nasihatlerden oluşmakla birlikte, dönemin siyasî ve fikrî atmosferi içinde dinî söylemin meşrutiyet, hürriyet, adalet, müsâvât, uhuvvet, meşveret ve vatan gibi kavramlarla nasıl ilişkilendirildiğini göstermesi bakımından önem taşımaktadır. Çalışmanın temel amacı, Mevâʿiz-i Dîniyye'nin Osmanlı Türkçesiyle basılmış metnini Latin harflerine aktararak araştırmacıların istifadesine sunmak ve eseri II. Meşrutiyet dönemi din–siyaset ilişkileri bağlamında değerlendirmektir. Tezin giriş bölümünde, Tanzimat'tan II. Meşrutiyet'e uzanan süreçte Osmanlı modernleşmesi, meşrutiyet düşüncesi, İttihat ve Terakkî Cemiyeti'nin siyasî konumu ve dönemin İslamcı düşünce çevreleri ele alınmıştır. Birinci bölümde eserin neşredildiği tarihî zemin, müellif kadrosu ve Mevâʿiz-i Dîniyye'nin muhtevası hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. İkinci ve üçüncü bölümlerde ise eserin birinci ve ikinci ciltleri transkripsiyon usulüyle Latin harflerine aktarılmıştır. Transkripsiyon sürecinde metnin aslî yapısı korunmaya çalışılmış; imla, özel adlar, dinî kavramlar, ayet ve hadis iktibasları bakımından tutarlı bir aktarım hedeflenmiştir. Sonuç olarak Mevâʿiz-i Dîniyye, geç Osmanlı düşünce dünyasında dinî referansların siyasî meşruiyet üretiminde nasıl kullanıldığını gösteren önemli bir kaynak niteliğindedir. Eser, II. Meşrutiyet döneminde ulemanın, dinî yayıncılığın ve vaaz literatürünün toplumsal-siyasî işlevini anlamaya katkı sunmaktadır.

This study examines the transcription and historical evaluation of Mevâʿiz-i Dîniyye, a two-volume work published by the Scholarly Committee of the Şehzadebaşı Club of the Ottoman Committee of Union and Progress. Although the work appears to consist primarily of sermons and moral exhortations, it constitutes an important source for understanding how religious discourse was connected with political concepts such as constitutionalism, liberty, justice, equality, brotherhood, consultation, and patriotism in the intellectual and political atmosphere of the Second Constitutional Era. The main purpose of this thesis is to transliterate the Ottoman Turkish text of Mevâʿiz-i Dîniyye into the Latin alphabet and to evaluate the work within the context of religion and politics in the late Ottoman period. The introduction discusses Ottoman modernization from the Tanzimat period to the Second Constitutional Era, the development of constitutional thought, the political position of the Committee of Union and Progress, and the Islamic intellectual circles of the period. The first chapter provides information on the historical background in which the work was published, its authors, and its general content. The second and third chapters present the transcription of the first and second volumes of Mevâʿiz-i Dîniyye. During the transcription process, an effort was made to preserve the original structure of the text and to maintain consistency in orthography, proper names, religious terminology, Qur'anic quotations, and hadith references. In conclusion, Mevâʿiz-i Dîniyye is a significant source for understanding how religious references were employed in the production of political legitimacy in the late Ottoman intellectual world. The work also contributes to the study of the role of the ulema, religious publishing, and sermon literature in the social and political life of the Second Constitutional Era.
