Özet
Edebî eserler, okuyucunun zihin gelişiminde ve fikir dünyasının şekillenmesinde çeşitli katkılar sağlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda edebî eserlerin eğitsel nitelikleri bulunmakta ve edebiyat aracılığıyla eğitim faaliyetlerine yer verilmektedir. Bunun yanında insana dair her meseleye değinen edebî eserler, direkt ya da uzaktan din eğitimine konu olan pek çok olguyu içermektedir. Zira din, insanlık tarihi boyunca hayatı kuşatan yapısıyla edebî eserlerde de kendini göstermekte, bu nedenle edebî eserlerin din eğitimine yansıyan taraflarıyla incelenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu araştırmada edebiyat dünyasına damgasını vurmuş Dostoyevski'nin eserlerindeki din eğitimi konularına değinilmiş, bunların din eğitimi perspektifiyle incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın meydana gelmesinde öncelikli kaynak, yazarın hayatı ve onun eserleridir. Ayrıca pek çok tez, makale ve kitap üzerinde durulmuştur. Araştırmada nitel araştırma metotlarından biri olan hermeneutik yöntem kullanılmıştır. Çalışma üç ana bölüme ayrılmıştır. İlk bölümde yazarın yaşadığı çağın daha iyi anlaşılabilmesi için 20. yüzyıl başlarına kadar ana hatlarıyla Rusya tarihi hakkında bilgi verilmiş, bunun yanında yazarın eserlerinin oluştuğu dönemdeki edebiyatın durumuna değinilmiştir. İkinci bölümde Dostoyevski'ye ait bilgiler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, yazarın belirlenen eserlerinde bulunan din eğitimi olguları incelenmiş, yazara göre din eğitimcilerinde bulunması gereken başlıca özelliklere değinilmiştir. Dostoyevski, dini hayatın merkezine koymuştur. Rusya'nın köklerinde bulunan Ortodoks Hristiyanlığın bilimsel yeniliklerden kopmadan ilerleyici bir zihinle yaşanmasıyla ülkesinin ve nihayetinde dünyanın huzurlu ve mutlu olacağını savunmuştur. Bu düşüncesini eserlerinde kurgusal bir dille vurgulamıştır. Ülkesinin din ile bağını kopardığını düşündüğü her türlü kavrama karşı çıkmış; ona göre ateizm, nihilizm, sosyalizm gibi başlıca inanç ve fikir akımlarına kaynaklık eden Batıya büyük eleştirilerde bulunmuştur. Dinî inanç ve öğretilerini diyalektik bir metot ile aktarmış, akla ve bilinçli bir inanca sahip olmaya büyük önem vermiştir. Gerçeğe ulaşmada salt bilimin yetersizliğini gözler önüne sermiş, insana derin bir anlayış kazandıran dinin hakikate ulaşmada etkin bir gücü olduğunu göstermiştir. Yazarın eserlerinde dinin kişisel çıkarlara alet edilmesi eleştirilmiş, Tanrı inancı başta olmak üzere dinin öncelikli öğretilerine yer verilmiştir. Araştırmanın neticesinde Dostoyevski'nin incelenen eserlerinde din eğitimi açısından pek çok eğitimsel içeriğin bulunduğu ve bunların oldukça işlevsel bir nitelik taşıdığı görülmüştür. Din eğitimi derslerinde yararlanılabilecek materyal çeşitliliği sağlanmıştır. Yazarın din eğitimcilerine yaptığı önemli tavsiye ve tenkitler aktarılmış, eğitimcilerin daha nitelikli hale gelebilecekleri noktalar belirlenmiştir. Yazarın eserlerinin, din eğitiminde eğitim programlarının hazırlanmasında yararlanılabilen bir kaynak olabileceği gösterilmiştir. Dostoyevski'nin din eğitimine konu olan öğretileri yoğun bir biçimde işlemesi ve din eğitiminin sürdürülmesini istemesiyle, eserlerinde bilinçli bir biçimde din eğitimine yer verdiği söylenebilir.

Literary works contribute in various ways to the development of the reader's mind and the shaping of their intellectual world. In this context, literary works possess educational qualities, and educational activities are incorporated through literature. Furthermore, literary works, which address every aspect of human life, encompass many concepts that form the subject matter of religious education, whether directly or indirectly. Indeed, religion, with its pervasive influence on life throughout human history, is also reflected in literary works; therefore, it is necessary to examine the aspects of literary works that relate to religious education. This study examines the themes of religious education in the works of Dostoyevsky, a figure who has left an indelible mark on the literary world, with the aim of analyzing them from the perspective of religious education. The primary sources for this study are the author's life and his works. Additionally, numerous theses, articles, and books have been reviewed. The hermeneutic method, one of the qualitative research methods, was employed in this study. The study is divided into three main sections. The first section provides an overview of Russian history up to the early 20th century to facilitate a better understanding of the era in which the author lived, and also discusses the state of literature during the period when the author's works were written. The second section presents information about Dostoevsky. In the third section, the phenomena of religious education found in the author's selected works are examined, and the primary qualities that religious educators should possess, according to the author, are discussed. Dostoyevsky placed religion at the center of life. He argued that if Orthodox Christianity—rooted in Russia's heritage—were practiced with a progressive mindset without breaking away from scientific innovation, his country, and ultimately the world, would find peace and happiness. He emphasized this idea in his works through a fictional narrative. He opposed any concept he believed severed his country's ties to religion; he leveled strong criticism at the West, which he saw as the source of major belief systems and ideological currents such as atheism, nihilism, and socialism. He conveyed religious beliefs and teachings using a dialectical method, placing great emphasis on reason and conscious faith. It has exposed the inadequacy of science alone in uncovering the truth and demonstrated that religion, which imparts a profound understanding to humanity, is an effective force in reaching the truth. The author's works criticize the exploitation of religion for personal gain and emphasize the core tenets of religion, particularly the belief in God. The study found that Dostoyevsky's examined works contain a wealth of educational content relevant to religious education, and that this content is highly functional. A wide variety of materials suitable for use in religious education classes has been identified. The author's important recommendations and critiques directed at religious educators have been conveyed, and areas where educators can improve their qualifications have been identified. It has been demonstrated that the author's works can serve as a valuable resource for developing religious education curricula. Given Dostoyevsky's in-depth exploration of religious themes and his commitment to the continuation of religious education, it can be said that he deliberately incorporated religious education into his works.
