Özet
Din eğitiminde ödül ve ceza yöntemlerini öğretici ve öğretmen görüşleri çerçevesinde inceleyen bu araştırma, bireylerin manevi ve ahlaki açıdan gelişmelerini desteklemeyi hedefleyen din eğitiminin tarihsel süreç boyunca ödül ve ceza uygulamalarıyla olan köklü ilişkisini ele almaktadır. Çalışma, söz konusu yöntemlerin kavramsal çerçevesini ortaya koymakla birlikte Türkiye'nin Konya iline bağlı çeşitli örgün ve yaygın din eğitimi kurumlarında görev yapan öğreticilerin bu uygulamalara ilişkin görüş ve deneyimlerine odaklanmaktadır. Araştırmanın temel problemi, din eğitiminde ödül ve ceza yöntemlerinin öğreticiler tarafından nasıl algılandığı ve uygulandığı sorusu üzerine kurulmuştur. Bu çerçevede öğreticilerin ödül ve ceza kavramlarını nasıl tanımladıkları, hangi ölçütlere göre uyguladıkları, söz konusu uygulamaların öğrenci davranışları ve öğrenme süreçleri üzerindeki etkileri, aile tutumlarının uygulamalara yansımaları ile ödül ve cezanın dinden soğutma ya da duyarsızlaşmaya zemin hazırlayıp hazırlamadığı gibi meseleler araştırmanın alt problemleri olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma, tüm bu sorulardan hareketle ödül ve ceza yöntemlerinin din eğitimindeki yerini öğreticilerin deneyimleri üzerinden derinlemesine anlamayı, alana hem teorik hem de pratik düzeyde katkı sunmayı ve din eğitiminde bu yöntemlerin daha bilinçli ve dengeli biçimde kullanılmasına yönelik öneriler geliştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.

This study examines the methods of reward and punishment in religious education within the framework of instructors' views, addressing the deep-rooted historical relationship between religious education, which aims to support the spiritual and moral development of individuals, and the use of reward and punishment practices. While the study establishes the conceptual framework of these methods, it also focuses on the views and experiences of instructors working in various formal and nonformal religious education institutions in Konya, Turkey. The fundamental problem of the research is built upon the question of how reward and punishment methods in religious education are perceived and applied by instructors. Within this framework, issues such as how instructors define the concepts of reward and punishment, the criteria by which they apply them, the effects of these practices on student behavior and learning processes, the reflection of family attitudes on classroom practices, and whether reward and punishment create a basis for alienation from religion or emotional desensitization have been identified as the sub-problems of the study. Drawing on all these questions, the research aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the place of reward and punishment methods in religious education through the experiences of instructors, to contribute to the field both theoretically and practically, and to develop recommendations for a more conscious and balanced use of these methods in religious education.
