Özet
Sağlık alanında yeni bir meslek olan dil ve konuşma terapisi hem sağlık hizmetlerindeki karmaşıklık hem de her geçen gün değişen toplumun sağlık ihtiyaçları göz önüne alındığında sürekli bir değişim ve yenilenme gerektirmektedir. Bu nedenle lisans eğitimlerinin son döneminde ve mesleğe geçiş sürecinde olan dil ve konuşma terapisi öğrencilerinin mesleğe yönelik hazır olma ile ilgili görüşleri oldukça önemlidir. Bu çalışmada dil ve konuşma terapisi son sınıf öğrencilerinin mesleğe hazır oluş algılarının incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışma tanımlayıcı-kesitsel desende yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2025-2026 akademik yılında kamu ve vakıf üniversitelerinin dil ve konuşma terapisi bölümünde öğrenim gören son sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmuştur (n=310). Veriler literatür doğrultusunda araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan anket formu ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Ki-Kare Testi, Kruskall-Wallis Testi ve Mann-Whitney U Testi kullanılmıştır. Anlamlılık değeri p<0.05 kabul edilmiştir. Katılımcıların mesleki uyum puanı (4,12±0,70), iletişim ve iş birliği (4,34±0,72), mesleki yeterlilik (4,00±0,74) ve toplam puanı (4,16±0,64) olarak belirlenmiştir. Dil ve konuşma terapisi son sınıf öğrencilerinin mesleğe hazır olma düzeyi puanlarının yüksek olduğu, en yüksek puanı iletişim ve iş birliği, en düşük puanı mesleki yeterlilik alt boyutundan aldıkları sonucuna varılmıştır.

Speech-language pathology, a new profession in the healthcare field, requires constant change and renewal given both the complexity of healthcare services and the ever-changing health needs of society. For this reason, the views of speech-language pathology students in the final stages of their undergraduate education and during their transition into the profession regarding their readiness for the profession are of great importance. This study aims to examine the perceptions of final-year speech-language pathology students regarding their readiness for the profession. The study was conducted using a descriptive-cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of final-year students enrolled in the speech-language pathology departments of public and foundation universities during the 2025-2026 academic year (n=310). Data were collected using a questionnaire developed by the researchers based on the current the literature. Descriptive statistics, the Chi-Square Test, the Kruskal-Wallis Test, and the Mann-Whitney U Test were used to analyze the data. The participants' professional adaptation score was 4.12±0.70, communication and collaboration score was 4.34±0.72, professional competence score was 4.00±0.74, and total score was 4.16±0.64. The results showed that the final-year speech-language pathology students had high scores in their level of readiness for the profession, with the highest score in the communication and collaboration subscale and the lowest score in the professional competence subscale.
