Understanding the dynamic behavior of physical phenomena observed in nature and engineering systems, both in time and space, is directly linked to the mathematical representation and precise modeling of these processes. Physical systems involve complex mechanisms such as the propagation of energy and information, deformation, and interactions within the medium, all of which contribute to the system's overall dynamic behavior. One of the most fundamental mathematical tools used to analyze and predict the behavior of such systems is partial differential equations (PDEs). PDEs not only describe the complex relationships among the variables that define a system's current state, capturing interactions and dependencies, but they also play a crucial role in accurately predicting its evolution over time. Through these equations, a wide range of physical phenomena, including wave propagation, fluid dynamics, vibrations, energy distribution, and electromagnetic processes, can be rigorously and systematically modeled, allowing researchers to investigate behaviors that might otherwise remain difficult to quantify. Partial differential equations are classified into three main types according to their structure: elliptic, parabolic, and hyperbolic. This classification is fundamental, as it determines the behavior of their solutions and their intrinsic mathematical properties. Hyperbolic equations serve as the foundational models for systems in which information and energy propagate at finite speeds, and they are essential for representing realistic temporal and spatial dynamics. This feature makes hyperbolic equations indispensable for accurate modeling of physical processes. Phenomena such as wave propagation, advection, signal transmission, and mechanical or electrical vibration can be mathematically represented using hyperbolic equations, which capture both the speed and direction of information transfer. A key characteristic of hyperbolic systems is that the solution emerges only within a limited domain of influence. This concept, explained through the notions of dependence and influence domain, ensures that physical causality is rigorously maintained. These domains specify which initial data affect the solution and which regions may be impacted over time, providing critical references for the design of numerical methods, stability analysis, and accuracy evaluation. The historical development of hyperbolic equations has closely paralleled the advancement of mathematical physics and differential calculus. In particular, the pioneering work of mathematicians such as Jacques Hadamard, Augustin-Louis Cauchy, and Peter D. Lax laid the theoretical foundations for hyperbolic systems. Their contributions address essential topics including the solution of initial value problems, the conditions required for well-posedness, and the continuity and stability of solutions under varying initial conditions. These foundational studies enabled both analytical and numerical investigation of hyperbolic equations, establishing a framework that underpins the wide range of modern engineering and physical applications observed today. The primary objective of this thesis is to examine the ARA integral transform method, developed for obtaining analytical solutions of hyperbolic PDEs, and to demonstrate its practical effectiveness and flexibility. Integral transform techniques are powerful mathematical tools that facilitate the solution of differential equations by expressing them in simpler algebraic forms and operators. Historically, Laplace and Fourier transforms have been used effectively for decades in solving linear systems, particularly those with constant coefficients. However, these classical transforms demonstrate limitations, especially when applied to variable-coefficient and fractional-order systems, due to the rigidity of their fixed kernel structures. The ARA integral transform is specifically designed to overcome these limitations through its parametric kernel of the form t^(n-1). This feature allows the unification of different transform types under a single general framework and provides the flexibility to select parameters that are tailored to the specific problem under consideration. Consequently, it offers a highly adaptable and robust solution approach in situations where classical methods prove insufficient or cumbersome. At the beginning of this study, second-order linear PDEs were carefully classified based on their discriminant, and the theoretical properties of hyperbolic equations were analyzed in depth. This classification is crucial for determining suitable solution methods and clearly defining potential application domains, ensuring that the approach is both mathematically rigorous and physically meaningful. In the theoretical section, the mathematical foundations of the ARA transform were examined comprehensively. Its formal definition, existence conditions, and convergence properties were explicitly addressed, while fundamental operational properties such as linearity, scaling, and differentiation were rigorously proven using mathematical induction. Of particular importance, the duality relationship between the first-order ARA transform and the classical Laplace transform, expressed as G_1 [g(t)]=s L[g(t)], was mathematically verified. The parametric kernel structure enables the ARA transform to unify various integral transforms into a single general framework, and the results obtained through inverse transformation and complex analysis can be consistently validated. To assess the practical applicability of the ARA transform, several hyperbolic models were investigated. First, the first-order advection equation was analyzed, and it was demonstrated that the solution obtained using the ARA transform is fully consistent with the classical method of characteristics, thereby confirming the physical fidelity and reliability of the method. Next, the linear wave equation was studied, where the method's convenience in handling higher-order derivatives and complex boundary conditions was highlighted. As a third model, the damped oscillatory telegraph equation was examined in detail, observing how variations in system parameters influence the resulting solution. This example demonstrates the effectiveness of the method for variable-coefficient and lossy physical systems, showing that it can handle both theoretical and practical complexities. In the final section of the study, fractional-order wave equations were addressed, providing more realistic models that incorporate not only the system's current state but also its past behavior. Analyses employed the Caputo-type fractional derivative, and a hybrid solution approach using the ARA transform was developed. This approach facilitates the computation of solution series via the limit concept, thereby enhancing both computational efficiency and precision. The obtained solutions were expressed in terms of the Mittag-Leffler function, which allows for direct interpretation of fractional dynamics. It was mathematically demonstrated that for the fractional order paramete α=2r, the solution reduces to the classical wave equation, whereas for α=1, it corresponds to the exponential function, aligning with the classical diffusion equation. In conclusion, the ARA integral transform method emerges as a robust and versatile tool for solving hyperbolic PDEs, offering high accuracy, algorithmic implementability, and substantial flexibility. Its advantages in handling variable-coefficient systems, singularities, and complex initial conditions underscore its significance and utility within the scientific and engineering literature. This study demonstrates that the ARA transform can be effectively applied to a variety of equations and complex systems, thereby establishing a strong methodological foundation for future research endeavors and practical applications.
