Özet
ÖZET Bu araştırmanın amacı PowerPoint sunu programıyla hazırlanan Türkçe ilkokuma yazma materyaliyle ilgili öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırma sonucunda PowerPoint sunu programının materyal geliştirmede etkililiğinin ve ilk okuma yazma öğretimine uygunluğunun belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan temel yöntem içerik çözümlemesidir. Araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ilkokuma yazma ile ilgili öğretim materyalleri öğretmen görüşlerine sunulmuştur. Öğretmenler ile yapılan görüşme sonucunda elde edilen veriler içerik çözümlemesi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiş, benzer yanıtlar gruplanmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre, PowerPoint sunu programıyla hazırlanan materyallerin ilkokuma yazma öğretiminde öğretim ortamını zenginleştirmek amacıyla kullanılabileceği, bu tür materyallerin öğrenciler için ilgi ve dikkat çekici olduğu, ilkokuma yazma öğretimi için bu tür materyallerin çizgi şekillerini ve çiziliş yönlerini gösterme, verilen cümlenin anlamını kavratma, cümleleri sözcüklerine ayırma, sözcükleri hecelerine ayırma, hecelerden yeni sözcükler sözcüklerden de yeni cümleler oluşturmada etkili olarak kullanılabileceği, diğer taraftan, PowerPoint sunu programı ile hazırlanan materyallerin sadece okuma etkinliklerine yönelik olduğundan yazma becerisi için başka bir araçtan yararlanılması gerektiği, PowerPoint sunu programının bir takım sınırlılıklarının olması nedeniyle, sadece bu programının kullanılması ile ilkokuma yazma öğretiminde bazı çizgi şekillerini ve harflerin çiziliş yönlerini göstermek amacıyla materyal geliştirilemeyeceği belirlenmiştir. PowerPoint sunu programıyla ilkokuma yazma için hazırlanan materyallerin somut etkinlikler sunması nedeniyle öğretim ortamında etkili olarak kullanılabileceği sonucuna varılmıştır. Hazırlanan materyaller ilkokuma yazma öğretiminde tek başına yetersiz olmakla birlikte, öğretim ortamını zenginleştirmek amacıyla kullanılabilir. İlkokuma yazma öğretimi ilkelerini tamamıyla uygulayabilmek ve hem okuma hem de yazma çalışmalarının her birini yerine getirmek amacıyla gerek duyulduğunda bir başka araçtan ya da ek öğretim etkinliklerinden yararlanılmalıdır.

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to gather the ideas of teachers about the first reading and writing materials, which have been prepared by PowerPoint presentation program. It is aimed to prove that PowerPoint presentation program is an effective tool in development of materials and that it is relevant in teaching the primary school students reading and writing for the first time. The fundamental method, which has been used in this study is content analysis. The materials on teaching first reading and writing developed by the researcher himself were submitted to the primary school teachers who were then asked to express their ideas and concerns. The data that were gathered at the end of the interviews were analyzed with the help of the content analysis method; that is, the similar answers put into groups and were interpreted. According to the findings of the research, it can be stated that the materials, which are prepared by the help of PowerPoint presentation program, can be used in teaching the primary school students reading and writing for the first time in order to enrich the teaching environment, that these kind of materials are interesting and attractive for the students, that they can also be used effectively in showing the student the shapes and the direction of the lines, in making the student understand the meaning of a given sentence, in making the student divide the sentences into words and divide the words into syllables and in making the student build up new words by using the given syllables or build up new sentences by using the given words; on the other hand, it is clear that the materials, which are prepared by the help of PowerPoint presentation program, are relevant only in reading activities and thus, another tool should be used in writing skills, and that due to some limitations in PowerPoint presentation program, it seems improper for the teachers aiming to show the students the shapes and the direction of the lines, to develop materials only by the use of PowerPoint presentation program. It can be concluded that the materials developed with the help of PowerPoint presentation program present real activities to the students and therefore, can be used effectively in the teaching environment. Although insufficient when used alone in teaching reading and writing for the first time, these materials can well make the teaching environment richer.
