ABSTRACT This study has been studied in İsparta region. Its aim is to point out properties of civil social organisations. İn this theses we generally aimed the concept of civil social organisations, how to be percevied, its functions from a point of social united, impressions of these organisations upon democratic development. It is composed of two main chapter. The first one has e theoretic character. It analysis the concept of social group/community/society, at the same time analysis the concept of civil social organisations from conceptual and historical wives. This chapter also includes comparison between ottoman emperor and western approaches. Finally we examined the role of social organisations upon the community united as a result of application some studies at definite civil organisations in İsparta. We considered these organisations legitimate in this study. The second chapter has a empirical character. We commentary public surveys that we take a poll upon some definite organisations. At the same chapter we gave their age, sexuality average and education properties. We determined their birthday and countries, martial status,professions. We took their immigrate situations into consideration. We examined how is their perception about civil organisations, member of them and what are their political tendency also. We explained their ideas about contemporary proplems in Turkey and in the world. For example what are their thoughts about democracy. At the final explanation, results of these questions were evaluated and gave shape as a table and frequency. vm
