Özet

ÖZET Bilindiği gibi folklor (halkbilimi) bir toplumun maddî ve manevî kültürünü inceleyen bir bilim dalıdır. Simav Folkloru adlı bu çalışmanın konusu Simav ilçesinin köyleriyle birlikte geleneğe bağlı maddî ve manevî kültürü ve bu kültürün ürünleridir. Bilhassa iletişim araçlarıyla birlikte hızlanan değişim, doğal olarak geleneğe ve geleneğe bağlı ürünlere yansımış ve beraberinde yeni yorumlan getirmiştir. Simav Folkloru'nda bu değişim gözler önüne serilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla çalışmanın önemli bir bölümü anonim ürünlere ayrılmıştır. Folklor birçok kişi tarafından halk dansları olarak anlaşılıp değerlendirilmektedir. Bu yanlış kanı hemen hemen bütün kesimlerde vardır. Çalışmanın bu bölümünde ve diğer bölümlerinde konu olan ürünler Simav ve köylerinin geleneğinden ve anlayışından kopup gelen numunelerdir. Simav ve köylerinde mani söyleme geleneği ve bu geleneğe deyiş alma / verme denmesi önemli bir ayrıntıdır. Ayrıca bu geleneğe kimi köylerde sadalama denmesi ayrı bir dikkati çeken konudur. Diğer bölümde âdet gelenek ve göreneklere yer verilmiştir. Bu bölümdeki gerek inanmalar, gerekse de seyirlik oyunlar İslâmiyet öncesinin samanlık anlayışından esintilerle doludur. Son bölümde ise Simav folklorunun yaşatılması konusunda sonuç ve öneriler yer almaktadır. Bu önerilerde unutmanın değil yeniden yorumlamanın esas olduğu vurgulanmaktadır.

Özet (Çeviri)

IV ABSTRACT As it is known folklore is a scince branch which investigates the phsical and spiritnal culture of society. The subject of this work which is named 'The Folklore of Simav' is bound to the tradition the physical and spiritiual culture of Simav and it's villages and also the products of this culture. Especially the change that is accelerating with the communication tools, naturally has reflected to the tradition and to the products tied to the tradition and together with it has brougth new interpretations. We tried to exhibit this change in 'The Folklore of Simav'. By this aim the first part of the work is reserved for the incorporated folkloric products. By a great number of people folklore is understood and evaluated as the folk dances. This incorrent wiew is presen in almost the whole sections. The matter of this part and the other parts of this work is the examples that came from the tradition and the intelligence of Simav and it's villages. İt is said to take and give poems to reciting 'Mani' ( the traditional Turkish quatrain ) in Simav and it's villages is an important detail. Besides it is said to this tradition 'sadalama' in some villages; this is also another that attracts the attention. The other part of the works is located to tradition and customs. The beliefs and the dances in this part are full of the breezes that has remained from the intelligence of shamanism which was before the Islamic Religon. The last part shelters the conglusion and auggestions about the lasting of the folklore of Simav. İt is stressed in the these suggestions that 'not to forget but to reinterprete is the fundamental principle'.
