Özet
1- ÖZET“Beden Eğitimi Öğretmenliğinin Yönetim Fonksiyonları”Beden eğitimi - spor alanı disiplinler arası bir yapıya sahiptir. Yönetim alanı bu disiplinler arasında yerini almıştır.Bu özelliğinden dolayı beden eğitimi ve spor alanında hizmet veren kişilerin; yönetimin teknik, stratejik (kavramsal) ve iletişim alanlarına ait becerilerle bilgilerini içeren donanımlara sahip olması, bu donanımları en verimli biçimde uygulayabilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu bağlamda, beden eğitimi öğretmenliğinin, yönetim fonksiyonlarından hangilerine ihtiyaç duyduğu, bu ihtiyaçların hangi fonksiyon yelpazesinde ağırlık kazandığı ve bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda beden eğitimi öğretmenliğinin yönetim bilimleri ışığı çerçevesinde hangi tip yönetim fonksiyonlarına sahip olması gerekliliği araştırma konumuzdur. Çalışmanın amacını gerçekleştirmek için yöneticilik fonksiyonlarını ölçmeyi amaçlayan bir anket formu oluşturulmuştur. Hazırlanan bu anket İstanbul'un 8 ilçesinde toplam 245 okulun beden eğitimi öğretmenlerine uygulanmıştır. Araştırma grubunun oluşturulmasında, aktivite sayısı çok ve çeşitli olan okullar isim olarak belirlenmiş, diğer okullar kasıtlı, tesadüfi olmayan yöntemle seçilmiştir. Belirtilen sekiz ilçenin üçündeki okullara İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüklerinin resmi yazışma ağı aracılığı ile ulaşılmış, kalan beş ilçede ise anket uygulaması bire bir görüşme metodu ile yapılmıştır. Dağıtılan 300 anketten 200 ü geri dönmüş ve geri dönen anketlerin tamamı değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Elde edilen bilgi ve veriler SPSS 10.0 bilgisayar istatistik programı kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma verilerinindeğerlendirilmesinde frekans dağıhmları,çapraz tablo ve ki-kare analizleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırma çerçevesinde yöneticilik fonksiyonlarını temsil eden sorulara verilen cevaplar bağımsız değişkenlerle karşılaştırılmıştır. Okulun mülkiyet türü, okulun kademesi, okul lise ise türü, beden eğitimi öğretmeninin meslekteki hizmet süresi, okuldaki beden eğitimi öğretmeni sayısı, okulda spor salonunun olup olmadığı ve okulun beden eğitimi ve spor alanına ilişkin genel durumu bağımsız değişkenlerine göre yapılan incelemede, beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin değişkenlere bağlı farklılık gözetmeksizin, belirtilen fonksiyonlara ihtiyaçlarının yüksek seviyede olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bulgular; beden eğitimi öğretmenliğinin, yönetim fonksiyonları olarak belirlediğimiz teknik alan, insan ilişkileri ve stratejik ilişkiler (kavramsal alan) çerçevesinde incelendiğinde, araştırılan yöneticilik fonksiyonlarının beden eğitimi öğretmenleri tarafından yerine getirildiğini göstermiştir.

2- SUMMARY“The Management Functions of the Physical Education Teaching”Physical Education - sport area has an interdisciplinary structure. Management area has taken its place among these disciplines. Due to this characteristic, the people working in physical education and sport areas need to possess the qualifications including technical, strategic (conceptual) and communicational skills and knowledge, and put these qualifications into practice in the most productive way. In this respect, our research subject includes which management functions physical education teaching needs, in which functional territory these needs intensify, and in the direction of these conclusions which type of management functions physical education teaching requires in the light of management sciences. In order to realize the purpose of the research a questionnaire form which aimed to assess the management functions was constructed. This questionnaire was applied to the physical education teachers of 245 schools around 8 districts of Istanbul. In constructing the research group, the schools with numerous and various activities were determined, other schools were chosen randomly. The schools in 3 of the stated 8 districts were contacted through formal correspondence while the questionnaire in the schools of the remaining 5 districts was applied through face to face meeting method. 200 questionnaires out of 300 delivered were returned and all of them were assessed. The gathered information and data was assessed using SPSS 10.0 computer statistics program. In assessing the research data, frequency dispersions, crosstable and chi-square analyses were applied. Within the research the answers given to the questions representing management functions were compared with the independent variables. In the investigation done according to the independent variables such as the ownership type of the school, the grade of the school, if it is a high school its type, the duty period of the physical education teacher, the number of the physical education teachers atschool, whether the school has got a sports hall or not, the general situation of the school about the sport area, it was determined that physical education teachers highly needed the stated functions regardless of the differences depended on the variables. Discoveries indicated that, when the technical area we determined as the management functions of the physical education teaching was investigated within the human relationships and strategic relationships (conceptual area), the management functions that were studied were put into practice by the physical education teachers.
