Özet

ÖZET Hastanede Yatış Sürecinde Kanserli Hasta Ve Ailesinin Sosyal Olarak Desteklenmesi Ve Sosyal Yaşama Uyum Projesi Her türlü fiziksel rahatsızlık, bireyler için bir kriz durumu yaratır. Bireylerin çeşitli duygusal tepkiler göstermesine neden olur. Kronik hastalığa sahip olan bireyler bu duygusal tepkileri daha yoğun yaşarlar çünkü toplumun onlara bir bakış açısı vardır. Hastalar toplumun anlayışsızlığı ile yüzyüze kalırlar, toplum kronik hastaya her zaman acıyarak, korkarak bakar. Bu kronik hastalıklar içinde en çok korkulanı da kanser hastalığıdır. Kanser diğer kronik hastalıklardan farklıdır çünkü ölümcül bir hastalık olup, sürekli değişmeyen bir anksiyeteye sebep olmakta, ailenin desteğini yitirme korkusunu içinde barındırmaktadır. Bu yüzden günümüzde kanserin sadece tıbbi tedavisini yapmak yeterli olmamaktadır. Multidisipliner bir yaklaşım içinde çalışılarak bu hastalara yardımcı olmak gerekmektedir. Bu projeyle Ankara Numune Hastanesi 2. Cerrahi Servisinde yatan ve kanser tanısı alan hasta ve ailelerinin sosyal olarak desteklenmeleri ve sosyal yaşama uyum sağlamalarının kolaylaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç çerçevesinde hastanede yatan kanserli hasta ve aileleri kanser hastalığı hakkında bilgilendirilecek, hastaların aileleri ve çevreleri ile olan ilişkilerini güçlendirmelerine destek olunacak, hastaların gerek hastanede kalış süresince gerekse taburculuk sonrası toplumda sağlıklı uyum yapabilmelerine yardımcı olunacak, hastaların sağlık kurumunun hizmetlerinden ve tedaviden en iyi şekilde yararlanmaları sağlanacaktır. Bu bağlamda hastalar ameliyat öncesi, ameliyat sonrası ve taburculuk sonrası dönemlerde ölçeklerle değerlendirilecek, elde edilecek sonuçlar rapor edilecek, gerek görüldüğü taktirde hasta ve aileleri etkileşimsel grup çalışmaları ile desteklenecektir. Bu projede kullanılması planlanan ölçekler ;“Hastane Anksiyete ve Depresyon ölçeği”“Meme Kanserli Hastalarda Psikolojik Değerlendirme Çalışması”ölçeğidir. Bu projenin sonunda hastalarda varolan anksiyete ve depresyon düzeylerinin hastanede kalış süresince nasıl bir değişim gösterdiği belirlenecek, hastalık hakkında bilgilendirilmenin hasta ve yakınları arasındaki ilişkiyi ne düzeyde etkilediği değerlendirilecek, verilen sosyal destek doğrultusunda hastaların topluma ne derece uyum sağlayabilecekleri gözlemlenecektir. SUMMARY Social Support for Cancer Patients and Their Families During Their Hospital Stay and Social Adjustment Project All kinds of physical discomfort create a condition of crisis for the i ndividuals. It causes various emotional reactions in the individuals. Individuals with chronic diseases experience these emotional reactions more intensely, because the society has a certain opinion for them. Patients then will have to face the lack of understanding of the society; society always regard them with feelings of being sorry and fear. The most fearful of these chronic diseases is cancer. Cancer is different from other chronic diseases in being a mortal disease, and causing a continuous and unchanging anxiety, including also loosing the support of the family. Therefore the medical therapy in our days is not considered sufficient. It is necessary to help these patients through a multi-discipliner approach. With this project, it has been aimed to support socially the patients hospitalized in the 2nd Surgery Service of Ankara Numune Hospital and also their families to facilitate their being adapted to social life. Within the frame of this purpose, the hospitalized patients with cancer and their families will be informed about the disease, efforts of the patient to strengthen his/her relations with their families and their social circles will be supported, healthy adapting of the patients to the society will be aided both during the hospitalization, and after discharge, and it will be ensured that the patient benefits from the services of the health organization and treatment in the best way possible. In this context, patients will be evaluated with relevant scales in pre- and post-operational period, and after the discharge, and the results obtained will be reported; the patient and their families will be supported with interactive groups studies whenever deemed necessary. Scales that we plan to use in this study are:“Depression Scale for Anxiety and Depression in Hospitals”“Study for Psychological Evaluation in Patients with Breast Cancer”. At the en of the project, the change in the levels of the existing anxiety and depression in patients during the hospitalization will be determined, the level of the effect of being informed about the disease on the relations of the patient with their relatives, and to what extent that patient could be adapted to the society in the direction of the support given will be observed.
