Özet
ÖZET Mukâtil b. Süleyman, ilk dönem müfessirlerindendir. Belh şehrinde doğdu. Merv, Bağdat ve Basra'ya gitti. Bir çok meşhur alimden ders aldı. Kendisinin çoğunluğu Arap Dili ve Tefsirle ilgili on iki tane eseri vardır. H.150 yılında Basra'da vefat etti. Bu tez, giriş ve fiç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Girişte araştırmanın konusu, amacı ve metodu hakkında bilgi verildi. Mukâtil b. Süleyman'ın hayatı hakkında bilgi verildi. Hocalarından, talebelerinden, kendisini övenlerden, tenkid edenlerden ve ilmî çevresinden bahsedildi. İşlediğimiz yazma tantıldı. İlk bölümde müfessirin, sebeb-i nüzul rivayetlerini nerede, nasıl sunduğu maddeler halinde, örnekleriyle anlatıldı. Müfessirin sebeb-i nüzul rivayetlerine yaklaşımı, birden fazla olan rivayetler arasında tercihte bulunup bulunmadığı anlatılmaya çalışıldı. İkinci bölümde, müfessirin sebeb-i nüzul rivayetlerinin başında ve sonunda kullandığı terimler örnekleriyle işlendi. Üçüncü bölümde, müfessirin sebeb-i nüzul rivayet metoduna eleştirel bir yaklaşım sergilendi. Dördüncü bölümde ise müfessirin sebeb-i nüzul rivayeti belirttiği ayetler ve belirtmediği sureler liste halinde verildi. İşlemiş olduğumuz yazma eserden örnekler verildi. Tez bir değerlendirme ile son bulmaktadır.

ABSTRACT Mukâtü b. Süleyman is one of the commentators in the early islamic period. He was born in Belh and left from there and went to Merv. After this he went to Baghdad and Basra. He was educated from famous teachers. He has twelwe book involved Arabic Language and Literature and Exegesis. He died in Basra 150. after hijrah. This thesis consists of an introduction and three chapters. In the introduction, some brief information about the subject matter, aim and method of the research has been given. And MukatiPs life and teachers and pupils and the people who criticize him and who praise him and his scientific environment was also mentioned. In this chapter the manuscript which we dealed with was depicted too. In the first chapter, it has explained that how and where the commentator gave the narrations of the revelatory occasions in his work. It has discussed the commentator's approach about the occasions too. In the second chapter, it has examined the terms which the commentator has used in the beginning and end of the narrations of revelatory occasions. In the third chapter, it has critically approached to the commentator's method of narration on revelatory occasion. In the last chapter, it has given a list of the verses to which the commentator referred about the revelatory occasion. İt has given samples from manuscript we dealed with it too. The work ends with a conclusion. VI
