Özet
öz Alman filozof, Hegel'in Devlet ile Aklı özdeş görme çabası ve Aklın kendisini devlette somutlaştırdığı iddiası, günümüz devlet teorileri için sıra dışı görünebilir. Ancak bu tezde, Hegel'in devlet teorisinin modern devlet teorilerine çok da yabancı olmadığı gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu görüşü temellendirmek için Hegel'in devlet teorisinin ne şekilde kurulduğu ve filozofun Devlet ile Aklı nasıl özdeşleştirdiği açıklanmıştır. Filozofun devlet teorisi, onun tarih görüşü ile ilintili olduğu için, filozofun tarih görüşü ve felsefe yöntemi de incelenmiştir. Ayrıca Hegel'in, akim somutlaşması olarak gördüğü devletin teorisinin, salt spekülatif bir düşünce olmaktan ziyade, çağının siyasi ve toplumsal olayların gerektirdiği bir devlet teorisi olduğu sonuç olarak ortaya konmaktadır. Yine tez içerisinde Hegel'in aklı en üstün mercii sayarak, kendisinden önceki modern düşünce geleneğiyle uyuşma içerisinde olduğu belirtilmeye çalışılmıştır.

ABSTRACT German philosopher Hegel's efforts to see the State and the Reason as identical and his claim that Reason is embodied in the state may be seen as being unusual in the context of contemporary theories of the state. However, in this thesis, the attempt to show that Hegel's theory of the state is not that dissimilar from modern theories of the state is made. In order to ground this view, how Hegel's theory of the state was constructed and how he identified the State with the Reason has been explicated. Since the theory of the state of the philosopher is related to his view of the history, his philosophical method and his view of the history has also been examined. In addition, as a conclusion, it is being put forward that the theory of the state which Hegel sees as the embodiment of reason is a theory of the state emerged as a necessary consequent of the political and social conditions of the era he lived in, rather than being only a speculative thought. Again, within the thesis, it is stated that Hegel, regarding reason as the highest point of reference, is in agreement with the modern tradition of thought before himself. HI
