Özet

ÖZET DENEYİMLİ KİMYA ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN VE ORTAÖĞRETİM ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN MODERN ATOM TEORİSİ KONUSUNDA BİLİŞSEL YAPILARININ ORTAYA ÇIKARILMASI Oya KARAGÖZ ŞAHİN Balıkesir Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü OFMA Kimya Eğitimi Yüksek Lisans Tezi Tez Danışmanı: Yrd. D©ç. Dr. Canan NAKİBOĞLU İnsanlık adına çok güzel şeyler olabileceği gibi, felaketler de meydana getirebilen insana mahsus en büyük gücün“beyin gücü”olduğunu söyleyebiliriz. Belki de, evren adına etkileri çok büyük olabilen bu güç nedeniyle beynin yapısı yıllardır merak edilmekte ve araştırılmaktadır. Eğitim alanında yapılan araştırmalarda ise beyinsel fonksiyonların açıklanmasının önemi büyüktür. Bu nedenledir ki, çalışmamız bilişsel yapıların açıklanmasına odaklanmıştır. Bunu yaparken kesin, genel, geçer sonuçlar ortaya koyabilmek adma tıp biliminde insan beyninin araştırılmasına yönelik çalışmalardan destek alınmış ve buradan yola çıkarak bilişsel yapıların ortaya koyulması için, son yıllarda ortaya atılan akış haritası metodu denenmiştir. Akış haritası metodu verileri; bilişsel yapmm kavramsal boyutu, dinamiği, bilgi işleme stratejileri ve kavram yanılgıları açısından nitel analiz yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yöntemin avantajlarının ve dezavantajlarının daha net anlaşılması için bilişsel yapının ortaya çıkarılmasına yönelik olarak kelime ilişkilendirme testleri de uygulanmıştır. Akış haritası uygulamaları îzmir ili Seferihisar ilçesindeki yabancı dil ağırlıklı bir lisenin 10. sınıf öğrencilerine ve Balıkesir ili Merkez ilçesindeki yabancı dil ağırlıklı bir lisenin 10. sınıf öğrencilerine olmak üzere iki farklı öğrenci grubuna, İzmir ili Seferihisar ilçesinde ve Balıkesir ili Merkez ilçesinde görev yapmakta olan kimya öğretmenlerine uygulanırken, kelime ilişkilendirme testleri sadece öğrenci gruplarına uygulanmıştır. Elde dilen veriler ile, hem yöntemler hem de grupların performanslarının karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır.

Institae of Balıkesir University Education of OFMA Chemistry Thesis of Bachelor's Degree Adviser of Thesis : Asistant Associate Professor Dr. Canan NAKİRO?LU We may say that the biggest power is the brain power which can make very beautiful things, or the catastrophes, too.The structure of brain is interested and researchered for many years because of this power whose effects are perhaps very big. At the investigations or researchers in the area of education it is very important of the explonations of the functions of the brain. Thereof our study was be focalized to the explanations of the cognitive structures. At that time, for biringing up of the definite,general and acceptable results, it was be supported from the studies which were directed towards the researches of the human brain, from this way,it was be tested the method of flow map, which was be suggested at the last years for the bringing up of the cognitive structures. The data of flow map were be analyzed with using of qualitative analysis method because of the point of view of the conceptual dimension and dynamic of the cognitive structure and because of the point of view of data processing strategies and because of the concept errors.For the clearer understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of this method, the tests of word connection were be applied with goal of the bringing up of the cognitive structure. The applications of flow map were applied for the students in 10 th class of high school that is largely about foreign language in district“ Seferihisar ”, province“ İzmir ”and for the students in 10 th class of high school, that is largely about foreign language,in Balıkesir center, for the two different students groups and it was applied for the teachers in the district“ Center ”of the province“ Balıkesir ”.The word connection tests were applied only for the student groups. With these arrived data, it was made the comparing of the performances of the groups and it was made the comparing of the performances of the methods.
