Özet
64 ÖZET Atlarda egzersiz öncesi ve sonrası sistolik ve diyastolik fonksiyonların Doppler ekokardiyografi ile değerlendirilmesi Bu araştırma, atlarda egzersiz öncesi ve sonrası, sistolik ve diyastolik fonksiyonları incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, yaşlan 5-16 arasında değişen, sağlıklı ve farklı ırklardan oluşan 20 at üzerinde egzersizin kalp fonksiyonlarında herhangi bir değişiklik oluşturup oluşturmadığına bakıldı. Atlarda egzersiz sonrası Doppler tekniği ile sol ve sağ ventrikül fonksiyonlarına ait çalışmalara rastlanmaması bu konunun seçiminde tercih nedeni olmuştur. Atların hepsi; M mode, B mode (iki boyutlu) ve renkli Doppler ekokardiyografik yöntemle ve 2.5 mHz'lik prob kullanılarak bakıldı. Parasternal uzun - kısa kesitlerden, apikal görüntülerden atrioventriküler kapakların anatomik yapısı ve kapak düzeyindeki kan akım hemodinamiği değişiklikleri siyah - beyaz ve renkli görüntülendi. Atların tümünde egzersizden önce ekokardiyografik muayene daha rahat uygulanarak sağ ve sol göğüsten çalışma yapılıp bu değerler karşılaştırılırken egzersiz sonrasında yalnız sağ göğüsten çalışma yapılabilmiştir. Atlarda egzersiz öncesi sağ ve sol göğüsten alman sol ventrikülün M mode ve iki boyutlu yöntemlerle elde edilen ekokardiyografi bulgularında, diyastolde interventriküler septum kalınlığı ve diyastolde arka duvar kalınlığında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar izlendi (P<0.05). Atlarda M mode ve iki boyutlu ekokardiyografik çalışmada, egzersiz öncesinde alınan parametreler ile egzersiz sonunda alınan parametreler arasında istatistiksel önemde farklılığın yalnız kalp atım sayısında olduğu belirlendi. Renkli Doppler ekokardiyografi çalışmasında ise egzersiz öncesi ve egzersiz sonrası mitral kapağa ait elde edilen sol ventrikül diyastolik fonksiyonlarından PHT ve IV RT değerlerinde artış izlenirken, E/A oranında istatistiksel olarak azalış tespit edildi (P<0.05). Egzersiz öncesi ve sonrası triküspit kapağa ait Pulsed Doppler ile elde edilen sağ ventrikül diyastolik fonksiyonlarından PAV ve PPGA'da azalmanın yanında, E/A oranında gözlenen artış istatistiksel yönden önemliydi (P<0.05). Bu çalışma ile ülkemizde ilk kez atlarda ekokardiyografik çalışma uygulandı ve referans değerler elde edildi.

65 SUMMARY Evaluation of systolic and diastolic functions by Doppler echocardiography in the horses before and after exercise The main purpose of this research is to examine the systolic and diastolic functions of the horses before and after the exercises. In this research, it has been obser\ ed whether the exercises have caused any changes on the heart functions of 20 horses which are between 5 and 16 years old, healthy and from different races. The reason why this topic has been decided is that no research was found about the functions of right and left ventricles after the exercises of the of the horses with the help of Doppler method. All the horses were examined by means of transducers that have the speed of 2.5 mHz with the help of M mode, B mode (2 dimentional) and colour Doppler echocardiography methods. Parasternal short-long cross section, anatomic structure of atrioventricular lids from the apical views and the changes of the level of the blood flowing hemodynamic were illustrated in black, white and colour. While echocardiographic exemination on the right and left bosoms of the horses were easily done and these data were compared before the exercises of (he horses, the study only on the right chest was done after the exercises of the horses. Statistically significant differences (P<0.05) between the thickness of the back side of the diastol and the thickness of the interventricular septum were observed in the echocardiographic findings of left ventricle, taken from right and left chests, reached methods before the exercises of the horses. It was determined that the only statistically significant difference between the parameters before and after the exercises of the horses was in the heart rates of the animals obtained in M mode and two diamentional studies. However, in the colour Doppler echocardiographic study, before and after the exercises, PHT and IVRT values of the diastolic functions of the left ventricle belonging to mitral lid increased, but E/A proportion decreased statistically (PO.05). It was also statistically significant that before and after the exercises PAV and PPGA values of the right ventricles diastolic function, reached by using the Pulsed Doppler method belonging to the tricuspit lid decreased, but I;/A proportion increased (P<0.05). Heart examination of the horses was firstly and extensively done with this research in our country and reference values wsre attained.
