Günümüzde kaliteli hizmet anlayışı ile çalışan bir işletme her zaman bir adım öndedir. Otel işletmeleri yöneticilerinin, çalışanlarının performansını yakından takip edip, mevcut performansı arttırma tekniklerim kullanarak, çalışandan en yüksek verimi almaya çalışmaları kullandıkları teknikle yakından alakalıdır. Otel işletmelerinde performansı arttırmaya yönelik birçok teknik kullanılmaktadır. Neuro Linguistic Programming (Beyin Dilinin Programlanması) yani kısaca NLP tekniği de bu çalışmalardan biridir. NLP tekniği, 21. yüzyıl performansı arttırma tekniklerinden biri olup herkesin kendi kendine uygulayabileceği kadar uygulanabilirliği kolay bir tekniktir. Duygusal zekanın maksimum seviyede çalıştırılması performansı da doğrudan olumlu etkileyecektir. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, otel işletmeleri ve otel işletmelerinin özellikleri, tanımı ve otel işletmelerinde insan kaynaklan yönetimi ve performansın önemi üzerinde durulmuştur, ikinci bölümde, performans kavramı, performans değerleme kriterleri ve aşamaları, NLP tekniği ve bu teknikle insan beyninin programlanarak performansının arttırılması üzerinde durulmuştur. Üçüncü ve son bölümde, otel işletmelerinde NLP tekniğinin uygulanabilirliği ve yöneticilerin bu konudaki düşünceleri anket yolu ile analiz edilmiş ve sonuçlan değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, araştırma kapsamına alman otel işletmelerinde insan kaynaklan yöneticilerinin çoğunun NLP tekniğine önem verdikleri ancak otellerinde uygulamada henüz yeterlilik sağlayamadıktan görülmüştür. Today, the enterprise which works with quality service approach is always one step ahead. Selection of those which are appropriate among the methods of performance enhancement according to the characteristics of the enterprise will make easy to reach the main target in quality. It is closely related with the techniques used whenever the hotel managements follow the performances of the employees and the managers and use the techniques of present performance enhancement and try to obtain the highest yield from the employees. A number of techniques are being used in the hotel managements in order to increase the performance. NLP, that is to say Neuro Linguistic Programming, is only one of these studies as well. The NPL technique is among the techniques of performance enhancement of the 21st century, operating the emotional intelligence with the maximum level will affect the performance both directland positively. The success of employees that work with higher performances should be rewarded and then those with the lower and unsuccessful performances should be encouraged. The study is composed of three(3) main sections. In the first section, it was emphasised upon the hotel managements and also the characteristics of the hotel managements, their definitions and the classifications. In the second section, it was emphasised upon the concept of performance, the performance evaluation criteria and stages, the NPL technique and programming the human brain an increasing it's performance with rhis technique. In the third and the last section the applicability of the NLP technique and the opinions of the managers were analysed by means of the survey and the results are examinned. As a consequence of the research, it was seen and clearly understood that most of the managers in the hotel enterprises that are taken in the coverage of study attach importance to the NLP technique but could not ensure the sufficiency in their hotels for the purpose of implementation yet.
