KISA ÖZET Yunan Tragedyasında ve Aristoteles'te 'Sorumluluk' Kavramı Kurtul Gülenç Bu tez, sorumluluk kavramının nasıl felsefi bir kavram haline geldiğini gösterme çabası içindedir. Bu nedenle, Aristoteles'in sorumluluk anlayışının Yunan tragedyalarındaki sorumluluk anlayışı ile örtüşmediğini göstermeye çalışacağım. Ayrıca sorumluluk kavramının, bu iki anlayış arasında beliren farklılığını açıklamaya çabalayacağım. Sorumluluk kavramının felsefe literatürüne girmesinde Yunan tragedyalarının rolü vardır. Yunan tragedyalarının içinde sorumluluk kavramı ile karşımıza çıkan farklı sorunlar ve kavramlar etiğin felsefede bir disiplin olarak yer almasına katkıda bulunmuştur. Bu tezde trajik sorumluluk ile felsefi sorumluluk arasındaki fark gösterilmiş ve sorumluluk kavramı bağlamında felsefe ve edebiyat arasındaki ilişki açıklanmıştır. vı

ABSTRACT The Concept of 'Responsibility' in Greek Tragedy and Aristotle by Kurtul Gülenç This thesis attempts to show how 'responsibility' has become a philosophical concept. For this reason, I try to show that the 'Aristotelian responsibility' does not overlap with the 'responsibility' found in Greek tragedies. I also try to clarify the difference between these two understandings of the concept of 'responsibility'. Greek tragedies play an important role in the introduction of the concept of 'responsibility' into philosophical literature. Various problems and concepts related to 'responsibility' found in Greek tragedies had probably contributed to the emergence of ethics as a philosophical discipline. In this thesis, the difference between 'tragic responsibility' and 'philosophical responsibility' has been pointed out, and the relation between philosophy and literature as far as 'responsibility' is concerned has been explained.
