7. ÖZET Renk, şüphesiz diş hekimliğinde estetiği belirleyici en önemli faktördür. Bu nedenle memnun edici bir estetik sonuç için, yapılan restorasyonun doğal dişlerle renk uyumuna sahip olması gerekmektedir. Renk seçimi ve üretiminde başarılı sonuçlar elde edilmesi amacıyla, teknolojik gelişmelerle bu alanda belli bir standart getirilmekte ve daha objektif yöntemler kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı; İstanbul ilinde bulunan diş protez laboratuarlarının rastgele bir grubunda çalışan diş teknisyenleriyle yapılan anket çalışmasıyla, bu kişilerin bakış açısından protetik restorasyonların yapımında renk seçimi ve seçilen rengin oluşturulması işlemleri sırasında kullanılan malzemeler, yöntemler, oluşan sorunlar ve diş hekimleriyle olan iletişimleri konusunda ve ayrıca, teknisyenlerin eğitim durumları hakkında sahibi olmaktır. Bu amaçla, toplanan 67 anket formundaki verilen cevaplar değerlendirildi. Elde edilen bulgular sayısal olarak ifade edilerek, frekans tabloları oluşturuldu. Alınan sonuçlara göre; renk seçimi ve üretiminde henüz objektif, standart bir sistem oluşturulmamıştır. Sonuçlar bunun nedeninin, daha çok bilgi eksikliğinden veya konunun önemsenmemesinden kaynaklandığım düşündürmektedir. Diş teknisyenleri, hekimlerle olan renk iletişimlerini yetersiz bulmaktadır. Fakat, bu iletişimin geliştirilmesi amacıyla teknolojiden faydalamlmamaktadır. Ayrıca, diş telansyerderinin seramik konusunda ciddi bir eğitimleri bulunmamakta, daha çok çıraklıktan yetişmekte oldukları neticesi çıkmaktadır. 47

8. SUMMARY Color is probably one of the most important determinant of esthetics in dentistry. The restoration should harmonize with the remaininig natural teeth to have a satisfactory result in esthetic. As a result of technological developments, more objective metods are used in order to standartize the shade selection and reproduction for success. The aim of this study is to discern shade selection and reproduction processes, materials and methods which are used, problems occured and communication with dentists in these processes by a questionnaire survey with dental technicians working in a shuffle group of dental laboratories in Istanbul. In addition, technicians' education is investegated by the questionnaires. For this aim, answers of 67 questionnaires were evaluated with frequency tables. Results indicate that; there is not any standart and objective method in shade selection and reproduction process yet. The reasons that considering, are lack of education or not pay attention much for the process. From technicians point of view, interaction with dentists is insufficient. Despite of this, they do not use technology to develop this communication. Also, the technicians are usually not educated well, and growing up as apprentices. 48
