Özet
ÖZET Hızla değişen ekonomik ve sosyal koşullar, rekabet ortamı, fiyat dalgalanmaları, malzeme teminindeki zorluklar vb. gibi olumsuz durumlar ve karın maksimize edilmesi nedeniyle işletmeler açısından stok bulundurmak zorunlu hal almaktadır. Bir işletmenin kendi özelliklerine göre sağlıklı bir stok politikası izleyebilmesi için işletmede mevcut bir stok kontrol sisteminin olması gerekir. Son yıllarda stok kavramı oldukça önem kazanmış olup, stoklar her işletmeyi yakından ilgilendirir hale gelmiştir. Günümüzde işletmeler büyüdükçe ve her konu üzerinde daha detaylı maliyet analizleri, daha bilimsel değerlendirme çalışmaları yapıldıkça stok maliyetlerinin işletmenin toplam maliyetleri içerisinde ne kadar büyük bir yüzdeye sahip olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. İşletme için ekonomik stok düzeyinin belirlenebilmesi, çeşitli maliyet unsurları arasında denge noktalarının araştırılması ve bulunması ile sağlanabilir. Her işletmenin büyüklüğüne, üretim, satış ve mali imkanlarına göre bir stok kontrol uygulaması yapması ile stok kontrolü amacına ulaşır. Bu tezin amacı, işletmelerin stok kontrol sorununu incelemek ve herhangi bir işletmede bu sorunun çözümünü aramaktır. Bu amaca yönelik olarak, stok kontrol problemlerine uygun yöntemler incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak işletmenin yapısına uygun stok kontrol modeli seçilip uygulandığında stok maliyetlerinde önemli bir azalma olacaktır. Netice itibariyle işletmelerin rekabet gücü ve verimliliği artacaktır.

ABSTRACT Working with stocks has been an obligatory fact for enterprises, because of some negative situations such as non-achievement of profit maximization and rapidly changing economical and social conditions, high competition environment, price fluctuations and difficulties by the material obtaining, etc. An enterprise should have an stock control system, in order to follow up an effective stock policy according to its specific characteristics. The purpose of stock control is to have the desired material ready on right time and to achieve this goal in a most economic manner. Nowadays, as long as the enterprises continuously developing and as long as cost analysis are performed more scientifically and more detailed on each subjects, it has been much more obviously visible that stock costs have a very important percentage within the total costs of enterprises. Determination of an economical stock level for the enterprises can only be achieved through the research of balance points between the various cost matters and these balance points should be found out. The purpose of stock controls can only be achieved, if each enterprise follows up an effective stock control application according to its size, production, sales and financial capacities. The purpose of this thesis is to inspect the stock control problem and to find out its solution on an enterprise. To achieve this goal, the most suitable methods regarding to the stock control problem had been inspected and studied. As a result, the stock costs will be minimized reasonably, when a stock control model is determined and applied according to the structure of the enterprise. Finally, the competition force and productivity of the enterprises will be seriously increased. VI
