Özet

İskenderun Körfezi'nde, lesepsiyen balıkların saptanması amacı ile 2002-2005 yıllarıarasında Hatay ilindeki balıkhanelerden ve 2004-2005 yıllarında trol, manyat ve serpmeağları ile 30 istasyondan elde edilen 68 familyaya ait 125 balık türünün incelenmesisonucunda, 19 familyaya ait 24 lesepsiyen balık türü [Dussumieria elopsoides Bleeker1849, Etrumeus teres (DeKay, 1842), Saurida undosquamis (Richardson, 1848), Liza(Valenciennes, 1836), Parexocoetus mento (Valenciennes, 1847),carinataHemiramphus far (ForsskÃ¥l, 1775), Sargocentron rubrum (ForsskÃ¥l, 1775), Fistulariacommersonii Rüppell, 1838, Apogon pharaonis Bellotti, 1874, Apogon quekettiGilchrist, 1903, Sillago sihama (ForsskÃ¥l, 1775), Leiognathus klunzingeri(Steindachner, 1898), Upeneus moluccensis (Bleeker, 1855), Upeneus pori Ben-Tuvia& Golani, 1989, Callionymus filamentosus Valenciennes, 1837, Oxyurichthys papuensis(Valenciennes,1837), Siganus luridus (Rüppell, 1829), Siganus rivulatus ForsskÃ¥l,1775, Sphyraena chrysotaenia Klunzinger, 1884, Scomberemorus commerson(Lacepède, 1800), Cynoglossus sinusarabici (Chabanaud, 1931), Stephanolepisdiaspros Fraser-Brunner, 1940, Lagocephalus spadiceus (Richardson, 1845),Lagocephalus suezensis Clark & Gohar, 1953] belirlenmiş ve bu türlerin tanınmaözellikleri ile yakalandıkları yer ve derinlikler verilmiştir. İskenderun Körfezi'ndeyakalanan lesepsiyen balıkların, miktar olarak çokluğunu ekonomik öneme sahip 11 türile ekonomik öneme sahip olmayan 8 tür oluşturmakta ve diğer 5 tür bireyce az olantürler grubuna girmektedir.

A total of 125 fish species belonging to 68 families were obtained by trawl, beach seineand cast net from 30 stations at the İskenderun Bay between the years of 2004-2005 andfrom fish market in Hatay between the years of 2002-2005. Upon analysis of thesespecimens, 24 lessepsian fish species [Dussumieria elopsoides Bleeker 1849, Etrumeusteres (DeKay, 1842), Saurida undosquamis (Richardson, 1848), Liza carinata(Valenciennes, 1836), Parexocoetus mento (Valenciennes, 1847), Hemiramphus far(ForsskÃ¥l, 1775), Sargocentron rubrum (ForsskÃ¥l, 1775), Fistularia commersoniiRüppell, 1838, Apogon pharaonis Bellotti, 1874, Apogon queketti Gilchrist, 1903,Sillago sihama (ForsskÃ¥l, 1775), Leiognathus klunzingeri (Steindachner, 1898),Upeneus moluccensis (Bleeker, 1855), Upeneus pori Ben-Tuvia & Golani, 1989,Valenciennes, 1837,Callionymus filamentosus Oxyurichthys papuensis(Valenciennes,1837), Siganus luridus (Rüppell, 1829), Siganus rivulatus ForsskÃ¥l,1775, Sphyraena chrysotaenia Klunzinger, 1884, Scomberemorus commerson(Lacepède, 1800), Cynoglossus sinusarabici (Chabanaud, 1931), Stephanolepisdiaspros Fraser-Brunner, 1940, Lagocephalus spadiceus (Richardson, 1845),Lagocephalus suezensis Clark & Gohar, 1953] belonging to 19 families were found, andtheir diagnostic characteristics, the place and depth where they were caught are given.The majority of lessepsian fishes in terms of quantity caught from İskenderun Bay iscomposed of 11 economically important species, 8 economically unimportant speciesand 5 species with few individuals.
