SONLU CİSİMLER ÜZERİNDE BACHET ELİPTİKEĞRİLERİ-GÖKHAN SOYDAN DOKTORA TEZ ÖZETİp asal iken Fp sonlu cisimlerinde basitleştirilmiş WeierstrassBu tezde,denkleminin özel bir hali olan y 2 = x 3 + a 3 Bachet eliptik eğrileri üzerindeki noktasayısı, noktaların mertebeleri ve bu eğrilerin grup yapıları incelenmiştir.Birinci bölümde, çalışmanın ikinci ve üçüncü bölümlerine temel oluşturacakkavramlar verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde y 2 = x 3 + a 3 Bachet eliptik eğrilerinin noktasayıları ile ilgili bazı sonuçlar verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde bu eğrilerin p ≡ 5 (mod 6)+bir asal iken devirli grup yapısına sahip olduğu; p ≡ 1 (mod 6) bir asal ve m , n ∈iken de ya C n × C nm ya da p = n2 ± n + 1 olmak üzere C n × C n şeklinde bir grup yapısınasahip olduğu gösterilmiştir. Bu eğrilerin grup yapısı incelenirken nokta sayısına dabakılmıştır. Ayrıca a 'nın Q p 'de bulunup bulunmayışına göre grubun üçüncümertebeden elemana sahip olup olmayacağı gösterilmiştir.

BACHET ELLIPTIC CURVES OVER FINITEFIELDS-GÖKHAN SOYDAN-PHd THESIS-ABSTRACTIn this thesis, the number of rational points, their orders, and the group structureof them, on Bachet elliptic curves y 2 = x 3 + a 3 which are the special case of simplifiedWeierstrass equation over finite fields Fp where p is prime, are studied.In the first chapter, the fundamental notions necessary in the second and thirdchapters are recalled. In the second chapter, some results concerning the number ofrational points on Bachet elliptic curves y 2 = x 3 + a 3 are given. In the third chapter, it isshown that the group structure of the rational points on these curves is cyclic whenp ≡ 5 (mod 6) is prime; and while p ≡ 1 (mod 6) is prime, it is isomorphic to the direct+product of two cyclic groups C n × C nm where m , n ∈ or to the direct product C n × C nwith p = n2 ± n + 1 . While studying the group structure of these curves, the number ofpoints is also discussed. Furthermore, whether the group has a point of order three ornot according to a belongs to Q p or not is shown.
