ÖZET, SONUÇ VE ÖNERİLERBu bölümde araştırmanın özeti, araştırmada ulaşılan sonuçlar ve bu sonuçlardoğrultusunda sunulan öneriler yer almaktadır.5.1. ÖZETBu araştırma, ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan yönetici ve öğretmenlerinhizmet içi eğitim uygulamalarına ilişkin görüşlerini ortaya koymak amacıylayapılmıştır.Araştırma 2004-2005 eğitim öğretim yılında Van Belediye sınırları içerisindebulunan ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan yönetici ve öğretmenleri kapsamaktadır.Araştırmanın örneklemine, merkezdeki 52 ilköğretim okulunda görev yapan bütünyöneticiler ve random yoluyla seçilen 15 ilköğretim okulunda görev yapan 407öğretmen olmak üzere toplam 512 yönetici ve öğretmen alınmıştır.Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket uygulanmıştır. Anketi hazırlamakamacıyla konu ile ilgili kitap ve makaleler incelenmiş, internet taraması yapılmış,alanla ilgili uzman görüşüne başvurulmuş ve konuyla ilgili araştırmalar ile bunlarınveri toplama araçları incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bilgiler doğrultusunda 4 boyuttanoluşan 26 soruluk bir anket hazırlanmıştır. Boyutlar; hizmet içi eğitimuygulamalarının gerekliliği, hizmet içi eğitim uygulamalarına katılma istekliliği,hizmet içi eğitim uygulamalarını etkililiği ve hizmet içi eğitim uygulamalarındakarşılaşılan sorunlar olarak belirlenmiştir. Birinci boyut 8 soru, ikinci boyut 3 soru ,üçüncü boyut 12 soru ve dördüncü boyut 3 sorudan oluşmuştur.Araştırmaya katılan yönetici ve öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, görev ve branşdeğişkenlerine göre belirtilen görüşler arasında herhangi bir farklılık olup olmadığınıtest etmek amacıyla ?t? testi, kıdem, öğrenim durumu ve hizmet içi eğitimprogramlarına katılım sayısı değişkenlerine göre görüşlerin karşılaştırılmasında isetek yönlü değişkenlik çözümlemesi (varyans analizi) kullanılmış, anlamlılık düzeyi.05 olarak alınmıştır.

Document converted by PDFMoto freeware version160ABSTRACTThis study has been conducted to reveal the opinion of the administrators andthe teachers working in elementary schools related to the In Service Trainingpractices of the Ministry of National Education.The study involves the administrators and the teachers working in elementaryschools in the borders of the municipality of Van in 2004-2005 Education Year.Total 512 administrators and teachers, 407 of whom are teachers from 15 elementaryschools chosen randomly and the rest are all the administrators from 52 elementaryschools in the city center have been taken under this research.A questionnaire has been used to collect data. Books and articles related tothe subject have been examined, experts dealing with the subject have been consultedand the researches related to the subject and their data collection means have beenexamined in order to prepare the questionnaire. A four-dimensions and 26 questionssurvey has been prepared according to the information gained. The dimensions havebeen determined as the necessity of the In Service Training practices, the willingnessto attend these training programs. The first dimension consists of 8 questions, 3 doesthe second, 12 does the third, and 3 does the forth.?t? test has been used in order to test whether there are any differencesbetween the opinions stated according to the variables such as genders, duties, andbranches of the administrators and the teachers participated in the study, and in orderto contrast the opinions according to the variables such as seniority, status ofeducation, and the number of the attendances to the educational programs, varianceanalysis has been used and the significance level has been taken as 05.The data gained in the study have been initially evaluated according to thevariable of duty. Afterwards, they have been interpreted at a dimensional level beingcontrasted according to the variables like seniority, status of education and thenumber of the attendances to the educational programs.In this study, the administrators and the teachers have stated that In ServiceTraining is a must of our century and that scientific, technologic, and theimprovements in the social have made the In Service Training compulsory. However,it has been revealed that the In Service Trainings are not given in an appropriate timeand conditions, the persons attending the activities are not determined according toDocument converted by PDFMoto freeware version161the objective criteria, the subject of the programs are not determined in an extent thatthe participants particularly need and not lectured benefiting the appropriatemethods, techniques, and equipment, and thus, the knowledge and the skills aimed atthe program can not be transferred to the participant, the opinion of the participantsin order to make the programs more effective are not asked for, evaluationsaccording to the objective criteria are not done at the end of the activities, and theparticipants are of the opinion that they can not practice those which they learnduring the activities. Furthermore, it has been understood that the administrators andthe teachers think that the In Service Training units do not have an institutional andcapable stuff and do not own a healthy and regular In Service Training policy.
