He tries to connect with all parts of thepublic. He is careful at choosing place and time. He chooses the characters who havegood and bad sides of beauty and ugliness.t is possible that the novels of writer are divided into two parts that it is town,country, prison novels and historical novels. The heroes in novels of country and townare ordinary people. The writer criticises the landowner of country in this novel.Because the landowners become rich illegally. The landowners use bandits for theiradvantage in ?Eşkıya?.The emotions of being homesick and getting revenge become a guide to the lifeof people in some of the country and town novels.There are always quarrells between the rich of the country because of gettingrevenge.Kemal Tahir mentions the ideas of education. He emphasis on the problems inestablishing of ?Köy Enstitü?.The prison novels are important for all arts of writer among other arts. SinceKemal Tahir had been in prison for twelve years in Çankırı, Çorum and Malatya. Thepeople who were sentenced because of different crimes. Some of them are sentenced forhonour. Some of them are sentenced for cheating and stealing.Kemal Tahir's novels have connection between past and present.The historybegins in 1300 and continues until 1950 in his novels. The establishing of OttomonState is being told in the book called ?Devlet Ana?, I. World War, Çanakkale War,Sakarya War and II. World War compose the main subject of Kemal Tahir's novels.We'd beter understand Kemal Tahir's novel, when we think them as a whole.The writer tells the way of deficient and negative of society. Roman kişilerini iyi ya da kötü, güzel ya da çirkinyönleriyle ele alır.Yazarın romanlarını köy, kasaba, mahpushane romanları ve tarihi romanlar diyeikiye ayırmak mümkündür. Köy ve kasaba romanlarında kahramanlar sıradaninsanlardır. Yazar bu romanda köy ağalarını eleştirmektedir. Çünkü ağalar haksızyollardan zengin olmuşlardır. Eşkıya romanında ağalar eşkıyaları çıkarları için kullanır.Bazı köy ve kasaba romanlarında gurbet ve öç alma duygusu halkın yaşamınayön verebilmektedir. Köyün zenginleri arasında öç alma duygusundan dolayı süreklisürtüşmeler olur.K. Tahir eğitimle ilgili görüşlerini de belirtir. Köy Enstitülerinin kuruluşamaçlarına aykırı olduğunu vurgular.Mahpushane romanları yazarın bütün eserleri arasında önemli bir yertutmaktadır. Çünkü Kemal Tahir'in 12 yılı Malatya, Çankırı ve Çorum cezaevlerindegeçer. Değişik suçlardan mahkum olmuş şahıslara romanlarda yer verilir.Kimisi namusdavasından yatmaktadır. Kimisi ise dolandırıcılık ve hırsızlık gibi suçlardan mahkumedilmiştir.Kemal Tahir'in tarihi romanları geçmişi günümüze yaklaştıran değerli eserlerdir.Onun eserlerinde tarih 1300 yılından başlar ve 1950 yılına kadar devam eder. OsmanlıDevleti'nin kuruluş yılları ?Devlet Ana? ile anlatılır. I. Dünya Savaşı, ÇanakkaleSavaşı, Sakarya Savaşı, II. Dünya Savaşı, Kemal Tahir'in tarihi romanlarında geneltemayı oluşturur.Kemal Tahir'in romanları, bir bütün olarak değerlendirildiğinde daha iyianlaşılmaktadır.
