Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı işbirlikli öğrenme yönteminin öğrencilerin fen bilgisi dersindekibaşarısı ile fen bilgisi dersine karşı olan tutumlarına etkisini araştırmaktır. Bu amaçlailköğretim 7 fen bilgisi müfredatında bulunan ?madde ve özellikleri? konusunda işbirlikliöğretim yöntemi kullanılarak bir öğretim süreci hazırlandı. Madde ve özellikler konusugeleneksel ve işbirlikli öğrenme yöntemi ile anlatılmadan önce öğrencilere konuyla ilgilibaşarı testi ve fen bilgisi tutum ölçeği testi uygulandı. Araştırma 2003-2004 eğitim öğretimyılında 13-15 yaş grubunda bulunan 102 ilköğretim-6 ve 7. sınıf öğrencisi ile gerçekleştirildi.Öğrenciler Kontrol Grubu (KG) ve Deney Grubu (DG) olmak üzere ikiye ayrıldı. KG'yegeleneksel, DG'ye işbirlikli öğretim uygulandı. Bulgular, DG'de bulunan öğrencilerin p <0,05 anlamlılık düzeyinde, fen bilgisine karşı tutumlarında ve fen bilgisi dersindekibaşarılarında KG'de bulunan öğrencilere kıyasla anlamlı ve pozitif yönde bir değişmeolduğunu göstermektedir.

The aim of this study is to carry out the effect of collective teaching method on thestudents? success on science subject and attitudes of students into science. A collectiveteaching method concerning ?matter and ıts properties? is prepared for this purpose. Thefollowing tests were applied as pretest before teaching matter and ıts properties byconventional and a collective teaching method: Achievement test and science attitudes scale.The study was carried out during 2003-2004 school period with 102 primary school studentsthgrade. The students were divided into two groups asbetween ages 13 and 15 of 6and 7Control Group (KG) and Experimental Group (DG) and were taught using conventional anda collective teaching method, respectively. According to p< 0,05 understanding significancethe results indicated that the experimental group students? attitudes to science show asignificant and positive change due to students? control groups. It?s the same with theirsuccess toward science.
