Thesis)ùXOH7(//øGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYFebruary 2006ABSTRACTIn this study, giving information about the technical features of wall to wallcarpets and in the light of these features, determining the elements influencingthe chosing of a carpet were aimed at. With this aim, a questionaire which wasformed two parts about the technic of wall to wall carpets, were performed tousers. According to the results of the questionnaires, it was determined that theusers didn?t know about the technic features of the wall to wall; and it was seenthat they didin?t prefer carpets in the kitchen and in the bathroom while theyprefer wall to wall carpets in the bedroom, livingroom, the sittingroom and theentry. According to second part of the questionaire results; having no germswas the most important feature, and the results of male and female questionairesubjects were close to each other. Furthermore, it was determined that with therising of the educational status the answers given were going through(slippedthrough) to the most important.Science code : 711
