Covering all the world, Globalisation attracts Turkey in all respects. Turkisheconomy, consumption ways and also the social life of Turkish people are influenced byglobalisation. The main thema of this thesis is to seek the effects of globalisation through theTurkish Media.Globalisation started to influence Turkish Media in 1980s. But the globalmedia investments was made in 2000s. At the beginning, this investments was being made aspartnerships. But in the recent years it is made as direct investments.Meeting the globalisation, Turkish Media changed its technology at first andthen changed its publication comprehension. The quantity of news about strangers quicklyincreased. Although the globalisation started at magazins in turkish media, nowadaystelevisions and radios stand in the forefront for strangers.Both pozitive and negative effects comes with globalisation. Using the lasttechnology and different prossesing systems and making the human rights more objected arepositive. İn the aim of surviving, media got corporated and this caused journalism stay insecondary consideration. The corporation benefits has shown itself in publication logic andenough circulation rate could not be reached.Turkish Media was influenced by globalisation but did not meet globalinvestment. The investment made by Turks in foreign countries is very very low. We can takethe fullest advantage of globalisation when the amount of foreign investments are equal tothose made in foreign countries.
