Özet (Çeviri)
SUMMARY The conscious nature the human being that differentiates him from the other creatures has always inclined him to understand and to perceive himself and his environment. Whilst trying to understand the environment and its interactions, he has influenced his society by virtue of his social nature and has promoted the formation of social beliefs and behaviours. The old Turks, with their lifestyle, customs, habits and 'The one and the single god“ that they have found in the endless sky, have adopted many religions such as Buddhism, Zoroasterism etc. It is known that for a long period, they have lived through Schamanism which on its own is still debated whether it is a religion or an accumulation of therapy based applications. This has left pronounced effects in the old Turkish beliefs. It is seen that during the evolution and the spreading of the Islamic religion in the Arabian peninsula, much against its universal nature, there has been a period of pronounced Arabic nationalism. It is during this period that the Turks were introduced with the Islamic religion. As a reaction against the supressing Arabic nationalism, we see in the Turkish land of Khorasan, the evolution of a Turkish-Islamic interpretation based on the Turkish customs, habits and the universal Islamic religion. This later became known as the ”Khorasan School“. One of the most well known names in this Turkish-Islamic Mysticism that evolved in Khorasan is Ahmet Yesevi. During the period of time in which the Turks has started settling in Anatolia, a dervish of Horasan School-Hacı Bektaş Veli and his companions settled in Suluca Karahöyük, supported the language and the customs of the region and started enlightening the local people. Thus the education system and the shared life style formed as such in Anatolia, together with its unique way of evaluation of the many basic concepts, is recorded in history as one of the important institutions of the Turkish- Islam Mysticism under the name of ”Bektaşi“ Order of Dervishes. The Bektaşi Order, completing its institutional progress also in formal documentation with Balım Sultan in 15th century, has left many valuable works of historal Turkish culture until it was considered to be the in same scope with the other orders and eventually closed in the second half of 1 9th century. With its influence to preserve the Turkish language and to convey the Turkish customs to present times, together with it's positive inputs to the Ottoman State and the army, as well as it's rich input to the Turkish literature, Bektaşi Order is an important source of it's own. -257-It is worthy to note the important role played by the Bektaşi Order to provide the balance between the Muslim and the Christian populations and to provide their voluntary acceptance during the conquest of Europe by Turks. Their universal view at the events; their principles of human rights that can be the finest examples to the most advanced contemporary populations in the world; their acceptance of the mankind as the ”Klalif of the god“ without any discrimination of his religion, language, race and beliefs; their endless respect to all created under their belief of ”Whatevever is created is the god himself“, the two foremost important elements thus brought in by this doctrine is seen as ”Love“ and ”Balance". The members of the Bektaşi order approach and observe everything with love and therefore defend the necessity to be on balance with everything and to preserve the equilibria. Today while trying to follow the progress of the western world, to maintain the balance with love as in the past between the west and the east; christians and the muslims, we carry the belief that it will be usefull to introduce and to keep alive our own cultural product -the Bektaşi doctrine. -258-
