Özet
Modern dünyanın yok edemediği işsizlik, fakirlik, göç ve benzeri sosyal sorunlardan en fazla etkilenenler şüphesiz çocuklar olmaktadır. Son yıllarda sokakta çalışan çocuk sayısının hızla artması ve çocukların hem zarar gören hem de zarar veren konumuna gelmesi, meselenin çeşitli boyutlarda ele alınmasını zorunlu kılmıştır. Bu araştırma, sokakta çalışan çocukların gelişimleriyle dini duygu gelişimleri arasındaki ilişkiyi, çocuğu sokakta çalışmaya iten nedenleri, sokakta onu bekleyen tehlikeleri, sokakta çalışmasının onda oluşturduğu duygu durumu ve bunların dini duygu gelişimine etkilerini incelemektedir. İstanbul Haseki'de bulunan Hayat Sağlık ve Sosyal Hizmetler Vakfı Sokakta Çalışan Çocukları Koruma Komisyonu tarafından yürütülen ?Çocuklar Sokakta Solmasın? projesi kapsamında ilgilenilen sokakta çalışan çocukların ahlaki ve dini duygu gelişimlerini ortaya koymaktır. Ayrıca, cinsiyet, yaş, doğum yeri, öğrenim durumları, okumuş oldukları sınıf, ailelerinin sosyo-ekonomik düzeyi, anne babalarının hayatta ve birlikte olup olmama durumları, tahsil durumları, kardeş sayıları gibi demografik değişkenlerin ahlaki ve dini duygu gelişimi üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarından elde edilen bulgulara göre, çocukların normal gelişim seyirleri, içinde bulundukları sosyo-ekonomik şartlar itibariyle zayıf olduğu için soyut algılama durumları da yaşlarına göre geri kalmıştır. Bununla beraber çocuklarda Allah, peygamber, melek, cin, şeytan, cennet, cehennem gibi dini tasavvurlar onlara öğretilen bilgiler doğrultusunda gelişmiştir.

Social problems as unemployment, poverty, migration which cannot be eliminated in the modern world affect mostly children, definitely. The increasing number of children working in the streets in recent years turned children into the maleficent and aggrieved positions, simultaneously. This fact necessitates a study of the various dimensions of this affair. This study analyzes the correlation between the development of the street children and of their religious feelings, the circumstances leading him to work outside, dangers awaiting him in streets, the emotional situation he acquires from his situation working in streets and the influences of these upon the development of his religious feeling. It displays the development of the religious and ethical feelings of the street children who have been interested in the framework of the project of ?Let Children Not Fade in the Streets? by the Committee of Protection for the Street Children in Hayat Foundation for Health and Social Services which is in Haseki quarter of Istanbul. Furthermore, the impact of the following variables upon the development of ethical and religious feelings is considered: Gender, age, place of birth, education, class they attend to, the socio-economic situation of their families, the familial status of their parents whether they are divorced, or they live or not, their educational level, number of siblings. According to the results of the research, their ability to receive abstract beings seem to be underdeveloped comparing to their ages due to the poor socio-economic conditions which slow down their normal development process. However, they know religious concepts as God, prophet, angel, djinn, evil, heaven, hell according to the teaching they received from their parents or teachers.
