SUMMARY Religion, especially its practical expression, as such all actions which flow from religion have an important impact on individualistic and social life. This is treue from the historical, sociological and psychological perspective and anaysis. The objective of this study which is called“Worship Psychology in Islam”proposes to look at the influence of warship on human being and society. The first part of our study reviews the importance and aim of wership in Islam. On the other hand subjective and objective religion subjeckts are examined at the heading of Islam and wership. The prayer(salat) which is considered to be the most fundamental essence of Islam is examined in the ligt of Quran and Hadid. However the main effects of prayer as being individually and collectvely are examined from the psycholigical perspective. As known to help are another and solidarity is importand from the perspective of social integration. The second part deals with Zakat(Alms giving) which integrates ecemonical life with spiritual life. It should be kept in mind that the prayer which is modest, sincere and far from interest, only prayed for God's sake as mentioned in Holy Quran and Hadid and the Zakat pairs have played and importand role in the life of individual and society.
