Özet
Türkiye'de cumhuriyetin ilan edilmesiyle birlikte 1923'ten 1946'ya kadar olan dönemde iki kez çok partili sisteme/demokrasiye geçis denemesi yapılmıs, tek parti iktidarının da çogulcu demokrasinin karsısında bir tutum izlememesine ragmen, ülke içi dinamiklerin henüz oturmamıs olmasından dolayı bu iki deneme de basarısız olmustur. II. Dünya Savası sonrasında, demokrasi yanlısı Batılı yönetimlerin yanında yer alma çabası/gerekliligi ile ülkenin içinde bulundugu sosyo-ekonomik ve siyasi zemine, Sovyet Rusya tehdidi eklenince; dönüsü olmayacak sekilde çok partili sisteme geçilmistir. DP tecrübesi ile baslayan bu süreç tez boyunca Kastamonu ili özelinde incelenmis; bu Anadolu tasrasının mevcut havayı nasıl soludugu, il özelinde siyasi ve sosyo-ekonomik geçici/kalıcı ne gibi degisiklikler yarattıgı sorularına cevaplar aranmıstır. 10 yıllık DP tecrübesi boyunca, Kastamonu DP'ye teveccüh etmis olmakla birlikte; bu dönemde ülke genelinde bazı bölgelerde görülen kalkınmayı yakalayamamıstır. Kastamonu örnegi muhtelif konularda tipik Anadolu tasrası deger ve politik davranıs kalıplarına sahip olmasının yanında; özellikle seçmen davranısları bakımından genelle örtüsmeyen sonuçlar verebilmistir. Çalısmamızda bu farklıkların sebepleri irdelenmis ve ortaya konan sonuçlar bakımından tasıdıgı anlam ifade edilmeye çalısılmıstır

In Turkey, with the declaration of the Republic, passing through multi-political party system / democracy was made practice twice at the period from 1923 to 1946; these two experiments was unsuccesful, because, in spite of the fact that mono partys? power behaving not against the pluralistic democracy, the domestic dynamics was not become established yet. After the Second World War, they had pass through the multi-political party system with no return by the effort/necessity of being the same side with Western governments which were the advocate of democracy and; by adding the threat of Soviet Russia to socio-economic and political conditions in the country. This process which begun with the DP experience is studied in Kastamonu district in this thesis, we tried to find the answers of these questions: what this Anatolian province thinks about the present conditions; what kind of temporary or permanent political and socioeconomic changes occured in the district. During the 10 years DP experience, although Kastamonu?s regarding them; in this period they couldn?t reach the development that seen in some districts in the country. On the various topics, the Kastamonu sample not only shows us that Kastamonu has the typical Anatolian provinces? worth and datum but also give us some results which does not coincedence with the generals? on account of elector behaviours. In this study, the reasons of these differences are examined and tried to explain the meaning of the results.
