Özet

İnternet hepimizin ihtiyacını duyduğu en önemli teknolojik gelismelerden biridir. Günümüzde her yerde her an internetten yararlanılabilmektedir. Elektronik posta kullanımının gün geçtikçe artması ve e-ticaretin de sürekli gelismesiyle birlikte her geçen gün internet kullanıcısı artmaktadır. ?nternet artık eğitimin de önemli bir öğesi olmustur. Bu çalısmanın arastırma problemi, ilköğretim öğrencilerinin internete yönelik bilgi ve düsüncelerini belirlemek olarak ifade edilebilir. Literatürde bu konuya iliskin çok fazla çalısma bulunmamaktadır. ?nternetin eğitimde etkili kullanılabilmesi için öğrencilerin internet hakkındaki tutumlarının belirlenmesi önem tasımaktadır. Bu bağlamda bu çalısmanın amaçlarını su sekilde açıklayabiliriz. Öğrencilerin interneti kullanma amaçları nelerdir?, Öğrencilerin interneti kullanmaya iliskin bilgi düzeyleri nedir?, Öğrencilerin internetin kullanımına iliskin düsünceleri nelerdir? Çalısma literatür taramasının yapılması ve öğrencilere uygulanan ölçeğin değerlendirilmesi seklinde sürdürülmüstür. Güvenirliği kanıtlanmıs bir ölçek ile çalısarak daha iyi sonuçlar alınmak istenmistir. ?statistiksel olarak veriler analiz edilmis ve sonuçlar tablolandırılarak açıklanmıstır. Arastırma kapsamında bulunan öğrenciler ilköğretim 4. sınıf, 5. sınıf, 6. sınıf, 7. sınıf ve 8. sınıf öğrencilerinden olusmaktadır. 1. sınıf, 2. sınıf ve 3. sınıf öğrencileri, okuduğunu anlama ve değerlendirme becerilerinin yeterince kazanılamamıs olması, somut düsünme döneminde olmaları, interneti çok iyi tanımıyor olmaları ve konuyla ilgili daha önceden yapılmıs arastırmalara da dahil edilmemis olmalarından dolayı çalısmanın güvenirliğini etkileyeceği düsünüldüğünden arastırma kapsamı dısında bırakılmıstır. Arastırma sonucunda ilköğretim öğrencilerinin internet kullanım düzeylerinin iyi seviyede olduğu ve internete yönelik tutumlarının olumlu gelistiği görülmektedir. Öğrencilerin öğrenim gördükleri sınıfların ve interneti kullanma sıklıklarının internete yönelik düsünceleri ve internet kullanımı bilgi düzeyleri üzerindeki etkileri arastırıldığında gruplar arasında anlamlı farklılıkların olduğu görülmüstür. Ayrıca bilgisayar ve internet eğitimi alan/almayan öğrencilerin internete yönelik düsüncelerinde farklı sonuçlar ortaya çıkmıstır.

The Internet is one of the most important developments which we need. It is used at work, at home, at school; shortly it is used everywhere. The number of people using the internet is rising day by day by the development of e-trade and the increase of using e-mail. The internet has also an important role of education. The survey problem of this work can be conveyed as determination of primary students? knowledge and thought aimed at the internet. There is not too much work regarding this subject in the literature. Since the internet be used efficiently and rightly in education, the thoughts of students regarding the internet must be taken into consideration. So the aims of this work can be explained as follows: What are the purposes of students using the internet?, What is the knowledge level of students relating to using the internet?, What are the thoughts of students relating to using the internet? The work has carried on evaluating the scale that was applied to the students and searching the literature. Getting better solutions is asked by working with a trustworthy scale. The datums are analysised statistically and the solutions are explained with the charts. The students who are involved in this work are 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Since the 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders do not know the internet so good, they couldn?t understand and evaluate sufficiently and they haven?t been prefer for research by researcher before it is believed that it can influence the trust of the work. So these students are excluded. At the end of the work, it is understood that the level of primary students? using the internet is good and their thrifts according to the usage of the internet has been improving. It is also realized when it is searched the students? influence on the knowledge level of using the internet, the thoughts regarding the internet and the classrooms where the students are educated, there are significant differences between the groups. On the other hand, different solutions related to the thoughts of the students? who get and who do not get the education about using the internet have come out.
