Özet
Bu arastırmada mesleki olgunluk düzeyleri farklı olan öğrencilerin, sosyal karsılastırma ve benlikimgeleri çesitli değiskenler açısından incelenmistir. Arastırmanın evrenini 2005-2006 öğretim yılında Erzurum ilmerkezinde bulunan liselerde öğrenim gören öğrenciler olusturmaktadır. Arastırmanın örneklemi ise, 2005-2006öğretim yılında Erzurum il merkezinde bulunan yedi farklı lisede öğrenim gören 186 kız, 234 erkek olmak üzeretoplam 420 öğrenciden olusmaktadır. Arastırma kapsamında; Bilgi Toplama Formu, Mesleki Olgunluk Ölçeği,Sosyal Karsılastırma Ölçeği ve Offer Benlik ?mgesi Ölçeği kullanılmıstır. Betimsel bir çalısma olan buarastırmada, tarama (survey) modeli kullanılmıstır. Arastırma kapsamında elde edilen bulgular, SPSS forWindows 12.00 istatistik paket programı ile analiz edilerek, tablolar halinde yorumlanmıstır.Arastırma sonuçlarına göre; Farklı mesleki olgunluk düzeyi olan öğrencilerin, sosyal karsılastırmalarıarasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıstır. Ancak benlik imgeleri arasında fark olduğu saptanmıstır.Farklı liselerdeöğrenim gören öğrencilerin sosyal karsılastırma düzeyleri açısından aralarında bir fark görülmezken, meslekiolgunluk ve Offer Benlik imgesinin ?aile iliskileri?, ?beden imgesi ?, ?ruh sağlığı? alt boyutları açısından,aralarında fark olduğu tespit edilmistir. Babaları farklı eğitim durumundaki öğrencilerin, sosyal karsılastırma veOffer Benlik ?mgesi alt ölçekler? açısından aralarında fark olmadığı ancak, mesleki olgunluk açısındanaralarında fark olduğu saptanmıstır.Anneleri farklı eğitim durumundaki öğrencilerin, mesleki olgunluk, sosyalkarsılastırma ve Offer benlik imgesi alt ölçekleri açısından aralarında fark olmadığı tespit edilmistir. Meslekitercihleri farklı olan öğrencilerin, mesleki olgunluk, sosyal karsılastırma ve Offer benlik imgesi alt ölçekleriaçısından aralarında fark olmadığı bulgulanmıstır. Meslek tercihinde kazancın etkisine göre öğrencilerinyalnızca ?Dürtü kontrolü? açısından aralarında anlamlı fark olduğu ancak, benlik imgesinin diğer altölçeklerinde ve sosyal karsılastırma bakımından anlamlı bir fark olmadığı gözlenmistir. Mesleğin saygınlığınınmeslek tercihinde etkisinin olduğunu düsünenler ile düsünmeyenler arasında mesleki olgunluk, sosyalkarsılastırma ve benlik imgeleri bakımından anlamlı bir fark olmadığı gözlenmistir.Öğrencilerin tercih ettiklerimesleklere göre mesleki olgunluk, sosyal karsılastırma ve Offer benlik imgesinin tüm alt ölçekleri ile ilgilifarklar istatistiksel açıdan anlamsız bulunmustur. Öğrencilerin ailelerinin gelir düzeyine göre meslekiolgunlukları açısından aralarında fark olduğunu, sosyal karsılastırma ve Offer benlik imgesi açısından aralarındafark olmadığı tespit edilmistir. Kız ve erkek öğrencilerin sosyal karsılastırmaları, benlik imgesinin ?duygusaldüzey? ve mesleki olgunlukları arasında fark olduğu, benlik imgesinin diğer alt ölçeklerinde ve sosyalkarsılastırmaları arasında fark olmadığı saptanmıstır.

In this research, social comparisons and self- images of the students, whose career maturity levels aredifferent, are analysed in aspects of various variables. The research?s environment consists of students who trainat the high schools in the centre of the city Erzurum in the 2005 ? 2006 educational year. The samples of theresearch consist of total 420 students who train at seven different high schools in the centre of the city Erzurum.In the study, Information Gathering Form, Career Maturity Scale, Social Comparison Scale and Offer Self-Image Scale were used as data gathering tools. In this research which is a descriptive study, survey model wasused. The findings obtained in the scope of this research were analysed statistics package program of SPSS forWindows 12.00 and they have been interpreted in the form of tables.According to the results of the research; A significant difference was not found between the social comparisonsof the students of different career maturity level. But, a difference was determined between the self- images. Adifference was not able to be seen between the social comparison levels of the students training at different highschools, while some differences were determined between the career maturity and sub-dimensions of Offer selfimage.It was determined that there weren?t any difference between the students whose fathers are at differenteducational levels in terms of social comparison and Offer Self- Image?s sub-scales, but there were differencesbetween them in terms of career maturity. It was determined that there weren?t any difference between thestudents whose mothers are at different educational levels in terms of career maturity, social comparison andOffer Self- Image?s sub-scales. It was found that there weren?t any difference between the students whose careerchoices are different in terms of career maturity, social comparison and Offer Self-Image?s sub-scales. It wasobserved that there was a significant difference between the students according to effects of earnings in careerselection only in terms of ?Compulsion control? but there were not any significant differences between the othersub-scales of self- image and social comparison. It was observed that there was not any significant differencebetween the people who think of that career respect has an effect on career selection and the ones who do not interms of career maturity, social comparison and self- images. According to the professions that the studentsselected, differences related with the career maturity, social comparison and all the sub-scales of Offer Selfimagewere found meaningless statistically.It was determined that there was difference between the careermaturities of the students? families according to the income level of the students? families, but there was not anydifference between them in terms of social comparison and Offer Self- image. It was determined that there was adifference between social comparisons, self-image?s ?emotional level? and career maturities of male and female students,but there was not any difference between their other sub-scales of self- image and social comparisons
