Özet
Bu çalışmada, öğretmenlerin öğretim stillerinin farklı zeka türlerindeki 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin fen ve teknoloji ders başarısına etkisi incelenmiştir.Çalışmaya İstanbul ilindeki değişik ilçelerde bulunan resmi ve özel toplam 20 okuldan, 32 öğretmen ve bu öğretmenlerin 6. sınıflarından toplam 659 öğrenci çalışmaya katılmıştır. 2007-2008 eğitim öğretim yılında güz döneminde öğretmenlerin öğretim stillerini tespit etmek için öğretmenlere Öğretim Stili Ölçeği (ÖSÖ), örencilere zeka türlerini belirlemek için Çoklu Zeka Envanteri (ÇZE) ve Fen ve Teknoloji Dersi Başarı Testi (FTDBT) uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen veriler analiz edildiğinde şu sonuçlar ortaya çıkmıştır:?Araştırmada farklı öğretim stilindeki öğretmenlerin öğrencilerinin Fen ve Teknoloji Dersi başarı testi puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir farkın olduğu görülmüştür.?Farklı zeka türlerine sahip öğrencilerin Fen ve Teknoloji Dersi başarı puanları arasında anlamlı bir farkın olduğu görülmüştür.?Farklı öğretim stillerindeki öğretmenlerin, farklı zeka türüne sahip öğrencilerinin Fen ve Teknoloji başarı puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir fark görülmemiştir.Bu çalışmada elde edilen bulgular ışığında, öğretmenlerin öğretim stillerinin, farklı zeka türlerindeki öğrencilerin fen ve teknoloji ders başarısı üzerindeki etkisi eleştirel bir bakış açısıyla incelenmiştir.

In this study, the effect of teaching styles on the science and technology achievement scores of the 6th students, having different intelligence levels , has been examined.The study covered 32 teachers from 20 public and private schools in the different counties of Istanbul and 659 students of those teachers at 6th grade. Teaching Style Inventory (TSİ) has been applied to the teachers in order to determine their teaching styles, Multiple Intelligence Inventory (MIİ) and Science and Technology Achievement Test (STAT) have been applied to the students in order to determine their intelligence levels and Science and Tecnology course achievement. When the data, collected in this study are analised, the results are shownd the followings;?It has been found that there is a statistically significent difference among the Science and Technology achievement scores of the students of teachers, having the different teaching style.?It has been seen that there is a meaningful difference among the Science and Technology achievement scores of the students, having different intelligence levels.?It has not been found that there is a meaningful difference between the average of Science and Technology achievement scores of the students, having different intelligence levels, of the teachers who have different teaching styles.Under the light of findings which are obtained from this study, the effect of teaching styles of the teachers on the science and technology achievement scores of the students, having different intelligence levels, has been examined in the critical view of point.
