Özet

Araştırmada, Fen ve Teknoloji dersi Biyoloji konularının öğretiminde hangi öğretim yöntem ve tekniklerini kullanılması ile daha fazla başarı elde edilebileceği araştırılmıştır.Araştırmanın örneklemini Ankara ili Kazan ve Güdül ilçesindeki Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı ilköğretim okullarında öğrenim gören 114 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Biyoloji konularının öğretiminde hangi öğretim yönteminin daha fazla başarı sağlayabileceğini tespit etmek için araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen başarı testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada ön test son test kontrol gruplu desen kullanılmıştır Elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde yüzde, frekans ve ?t? testi kullanılmıştır.Araştırma sonucu elde edilen bulgulara göre:Laboratuar yönteminin kullanıldığı deney grubu ile geleneksel öğretim yöntemi kullanılan kontrol grubu arasında anlamlı bir başarı farkı tespit edilmiştir. Laboratuar yönteminin biyoloji konularının öğretiminde kullanılması Fen ve Teknoloji dersindeki başarıyı arttırmaktadır.

This research studies which teaching methods and techniques are more eligible to ensure the highest level of learning in the education of Biology subjects in Science and Technology lesson.The sample of the study is 114 students studying at primary schools bound to the Ministry of Education in Kazan and Güdül districts, Ankara. An evaluation test devised by the researcher was utilized in order to determine which teaching method could ensure a higher learning in the education of Biology subjects. In this study, pretest and posttest control group design is used. Percentage, frequency and ?t? test were used for evaluation of the results which were obtained in this research.According to the findings:A significant difference in success was observed between the experiment group with which the laboratory method was applied and the group on which the traditional teaching method was utilized. Application of the laboratory method on the education of Biology subjects increases the level of success.
