Özet
ABSTRACT The studied Area, of about 200 km2, is located between Ağlasun District (Burdur) and the south of İsparta. The sequences, determined in the area, have been distinguished in two main groups, as autochthonous and allochthonous. The autochthonous have been ranged in age from Triassic Ispartaçay formation, the basement, to Pliocene Gölcük volcanics, actual aluvium and uncemented materials. The Cretaceous Davras formation, Eocene Savkoy formation, Lower Miocene Imrezi formation and Ağlasun formation and Upper Miocene Gavurdüzü formation were the other rocks observed in the area. The Al lochthonous sequences, defined in the area., were ophiolites and Akdaâj limestones. The single economics material in the area is the trass which have been used for years in Göltas Cement plant in İsparta as a raw material. The chemical properties of the trass as follows. The contents of SiOa+AlaAs+Fea-Os is 74-847.; of MgO 0.27-0.767. and of S0a 0.00-0.307.. These properties are very suitable for industrial marketing and as a result of geological, geochemical and other properties it has been conceded that the material can be used productively for cement industry as raw material.
