The most important factor of exportation and importation is sending the goods from theexporter to the importer, that is to say, it is transportation. At this point the exportersand importers need professional companies which will arrange and organize thetransportation of goods. Such companies are called Freight Forwarders.In this study, firstly the reasons for formation of Freight Forwarders are mentioned andthe services that Freight Forwarder give the clients, is told. After explaining according towhich criterion the transportation type is chosen by comparing the types oftransportation, roles of Freight Forwarder in the process of goods transportationthrough sea-way is indicated and the realization processes of exportation andimportation is mentioned. However, in the following sections, in order to beingcomprehended, the process in exporting and importing better, implementation ofexporting and importing is explained with necessary documents and examples ofcorrespondence.
