Özet

Çukurova koşullarında, değişik ekim sıklıklarının, iki farklı susam çeşitinin başlıca verim unsurlarına etkilerini incelemek amacı ile ele alınan bu çalışma; Çukurova üniversitesi, Ziraat Fakültesi, Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü Araştırma Alanı' nda, 1990 yılı II. ürün yetiiştirme sezonunda yapılmıştır. Araştırma; faktöryel düzende, tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekrarlamalı alarak oluşturulmuştur. Araştırımdan, incelenen özellikler yönünden saptanan sonuçlar aşağıda özetlenmiştir. 1- Bitki Boyu ; Bitki boyu, çeşitlerden ve ekim sıklıklarından önemli düzeyde etkilenmiş, ekim sıklıklıgı arttıkça bitki boyu artmıştır. En yüksek bitki boyu özberk-82 çeşitinden saptanmıştır. Bitki boyu ile protein oranı arasında önemli ve olumlu, bitki başına kapsül sayısı, kapsüldeki tohum sayısı, 1000 tohum ağırlığı, yag oranı, ham yag verimi ve tohum verimi arasında önemli ve olumsuz bir ilişki saptanmıştır. 2- Bitki Başına Dal Sayısı : Bitki başına dal sayısı, çeşitlerden ve ekim sıklıklarından önemli düzeyde etkilenmiş, ekim sıklığı azaldıkça bitki başına dal sayısı artmıştır. En yüksek dal sayısı özberk-82 çeşitinden saptanmıştır. Bitki başına dal sayısı ile bitki başına kapsül sayısı ve kapsüldeki tohum sayısı arasında önemli ve olumlu, yag oranı ve protein oranı arasında da önemli ve olumsuz bir ilişki saptanmıştır. Ayrıca tohum verimi ile bu özellik arasında önemsiz de olsa olumlu bir ilişki saptanmıştır. 3- Bitki Başına Kapsül Sayısı : Bitki başına kapsül sayısı, çeşitlerden ve ekim sıklıklarından önemli düzeyde etkilenmiş, ekim sıklığı azaldıkça bitki başına kapsül sayısı artmıştır. En yüksek bitki basına kapsül sayısı özberk-82 çeşitinden saptanmıştır. Bitki başına kapsül sayısı ile tohum verimi, ham yag verimi, bitki başına dal sayısı, kapsüldeki tohum sayısı ve 1000 tohum ağırlığı arasında önemli ve olumlu, bitki boyu ve protein oranı arasında da önemli ve olumsuz bir ilişki saptanmıştır.-56- 9- Seed Yield: Seed yield was significantly effected by the cultivars and the plant density. Plant density decreased with increased seed yield. Muganli-57 gave the highest seed yield. Seed yield was positively and significantly correlated with number of capsule/plant, number of seed/ capsule, 1000 seed weight, oil content and oil yield. Seed yield was negatively and significantly correlated with Plant height and protein content.-55- 4- lumber of Seed/ Capsule: Number of seed/capsule wasn' t effected by the cultivars. It was significantly effected by the plant density. Plant density decreased with increased number of seed/capsule. Number of seed/capsule was positively and significantly correlated with seed yield, oil yield, number of capsule/plant, Sumber of branch/ plant and 1000 seed weight. Number of seed/capsule was negatively and significantly correlated with Plant height and protein content. 5- 1000 Seed Veight: 1000 seed weight was significantly effected by the cultivars and the plant density. Plant density decreased with increased 1000 seed weight. Muganli-57 gave the highest 1000 seed weight. 1000 seed weight was positively and significantly correlated with seed yield, oil yield, oil content, number of capsule/plant and number of seed/capsule. 1000 seed weight was negatively and significantly correlated with Plant height. 6- Oil Content: Oil content was significantly effected by the cultivars and the plant density. Plant density decreased with increased oil content. Xuganli-57 gave the highest oil content. Oil content was positively and significantly correlated with seed yield, oil yield and 1000 seed weight. Oil content was negatively and significantly correlated with Plant height and Number of branch/ plant. 7- Protein Content: Protein content wasn' t effected by the cultivars. It was significantly effected by plant density. Plant density increased with increased protein content. Protein content was positively and significantly correlated with Plant height. Protein content was negatively and significantly correlated with seed yield, Sumber of branch/plant, number of capsule/plant and number of seed/capsule. 8- Oil Yield: Oil yield was significantly effected by the cultivars and the plant density.
