SUMMARY The research area is existed at Central Anatolian of Yukarı Sakarya that insides in a tectonic depression place at south of Eskişehir city. Çifteler town is situated in a subraid region that has a steppe plant because of summer arid. This town is rich by the research of underground and surface water. The most important stream is Sakarya river and its branches. The most important economical work is agriculture, according to the geological structure, morphology, soil and climate at our research district. On the more percent age of agriculture soils, creals and especially wheat are grown and produced. Be sides sugar beet, vegetables and fruit are grown in some areas which can be watera- ble soils. Except agriculture the other important economic activity is animal husbandary, but reducing of grassland by the time causes, stock breeding and born animal growing. Çifteler district consists of a town and 22 villages, seems central around and or derly location type. Mean while because of the hard living conditions and low educa tion level and impossibilities, some of people migrate to bigger places and centrums day by day so that the^ population of town is more than total rural population. By means of the commercial center, transportation and market possibilities, Çif teler has a high importance and attractive place for its surrounding.
