Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı trombon çalmaya istek duyan veya çalmaya yeni başlamış olan bir öğrencinin trombonun yapısal özelliklerini, değişik oranlarda trombon türlerini, fiziksel özelliklerini ne türlü en doğru şekilde kullanacağı ve nasıl çalışması gerektiği ile ilgili yararlı bilgiler sunmaktır. Tezin ilk bölümünde trombonun tanımı, tarihçesi, yapısal özellikleri ve türleri, ikinci bölümde trombonun seçimi, bakımı ve ek donanımları, üçüncü bölümde ise çalışma teknikleri incelenmiştir.

The aim of this research is to provide a beginner student with useful information about the structure of the trombone and different trombone types, while acting as a guide on how to use the physical attributes of the trombone in a correct way and how to practice the instrument. The first section includes the definition of the trombone, its historical development, its structural characteristics and different trombone types. The second section focuses on how to choose the right trombone, its maintenance and additional accessories. The third section discusses about different practice techniques.
