Özet
Bu araştırmada, Bireysel Çalgı I Dersine İlişkin Öğrenci Tutumlarının ve Başarılarının Çeşitli Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.Araştırmanın temel amacı öğrencilerinin bireysel çalgılarına ilişkin tutumlarını, bireysel çalgının seçim yöntemi, cinsiyet, mezun olunan lise ve devam ettikleri üniversite değişkenlerini etkileyip etkilemediğini inceleyip, bireysel çalgıya ilişkin tutum ile akademik başarı arasında ilişki olup olmadığını ortaya koymaktır.Araştırmanın örneklemi 2009-2010 Eğitim-öğretim yılı Güz yarıyılında, İnönü Üniversitesi, Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi, Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi, Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi, Balıkesir Üniversitesi, Mehmet Akif Ersoy Üniversitesi ve Atatürk Üniversitesi Müzik Eğitimi Öğretmenliği bölümünde öğrenim gören I. Sınıf öğrencileri olarak belirlenmiştir.Araştırmada veriler, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan 5'li Likert Tipindeki Bireysel Çalgıya İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği uygulanarak elde edilmiştir.Verilerin çözümlenmesinde alt problem sırası izlenmiştir, çözümleme işlemi için SPSS (TheStatistical Packet For Social Sciences) paket programından yararlanılmıştır. Düzey belirlemeye ilişkin çözümlemelerde öncelikle toplam puanlar alınmış sonra madde sayısına bölünerek beşli derecelendirmeye uygun hale getirilmiştir ve sonrasında ortalama ve standart sapma puanları hesaplanmıştır.Araştırmanın alt problemlerinde tutumun çeşitli değişkenlerle ilişkili olup olmadığını test etmek amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, öncelikle çözümlemelerde kullanılacak testlerin parametrik veya nanparametrik olacağına karar verilmiştir. Bunun için, görüşlerin dağılımının normalliği SPSS programı yardımıyla Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi ile test edilmiştir.Cinsiyet ve mezun olunan lise türüne yönelik tutumların akademik başarıyı etkilemediği, okumakta olunan üniversite açısından anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür.Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin bireysel çalgılarına olan tutumları ile bu dersteki akademik başarıları arasındaki ilişkiye bakıldığında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur.

In this study, The effects of first year Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education, Music Education students? attitudes towards the Individual Instrument I course were examined.The main purpose of the study is to examine whether students? attitudes towards their music instruments are affected by the variables of the way of deciding on the music instrument, sex, the high school students graduated from and the university students study at and put forth whether there is a correlation between the attitude towards the music instrument and academic success.The sample of the study consists of first year students at Music Education departments at Inönü University, Karadeniz Teknik University, Cumhuriyet University, Adnan Menderes University, Balıkesir University, Mehmet Akif Ersoy University and Atatürk University in 2009-2010 academic year fall semester.Data in the study was gained using 5 likert type scale of attitude on individual instrument. In the analysis of the data, sub problem order was followed and SPSS (TheStatistical Packet For Social Sciences) was used. In the analysis on the determination of levels, total points were first calculated and then they were divided into the number of items and were prepared for 5 scaling. Then,mean and standart deviation were calculated.In the subproblems of the study, the aim is to test whether the attitude is related to some variables. Thus, first it was decided whether the tests to be used in the analysis will be parametric or not. In order to do this, the normality of the views? distribution was tested by Kolmogorov-Smirnov test using SPSS program.It was seen that attitudes towards sex and the type of high school students graduated from do not affect academic success and there is a meaningful relationship in terms of the university students study at.When the relationship between students? attitudes towards their individual instruments and their academic success in that lesson is examined, a positive meaningful correlation is found.
