Özet
Poliollerinbiyolojik öneminden dolayı, bu tez kapsamında bazı yeni polioltürevlerinin sentezi gerçekleştirildi.İndan-2-ol'ün Birch indirgenmesi akabinde indirgenme ürününün sırasıylaAcCl ile asetatlanması ve OsO4?NMO ile yükseltgenmesi iki tane izomerikasetoksi tetrol karışımını verdi. Bu karışımın asetatlanması ve sonuçürününün kromotografik ayırma ve kristallendirme işlemleri yeni pentoltürevleri olan (2r,3aR,5R,6S,7aS)-octahidro-1H-inden-2,3a,5,6,7a-pentailpentaasetat ve(2r,3aR,5S,6R,7aS)-octahidro-1H-inden-2,3a,5,6,7a-pentail pentaacetat'ıverdi.Ayrıca, naftakinon ve 1-asetoksibutadienin silklo katılma reaksiyonusonucunda ilgili katılma ürünü sentezlendi. Bu bileşiğin NaBH4 ileindirgenmesi akabinde indirgenme ürününün AcCl ile asetatlanmasıtriasetat türevini verdi. Bu bileşiğin OsO4?NMO ile yükseltgenmesi vepiridin varlığında Ac2O ile asetatlanması pentaasetat türevini verdi.Pentaasetat'ın MeOH içerisinde K2CO3 ile hidroliz edilmesiyle(1S,2S,3S,9R,10S)-1,2,3,4,4a,9,9a,10-octahydroanthracene-1,2,3,9,10-pentaolsentezlendi. Sentezlenen bütün bileşiklerin yapıları spektroskobikyöntemlerle aydınlatıldı.

Becauseof the biological importance of polyols, in the present theses, thesynthesis of some new polycyclitol derivatives were carried out.The Birch reduction of indane-2-ol, followed by acetylation of reducedproduct with AcCl and oxidation with OsO4-NMO respectively afforded amixture of two isomeric acetoxy tetrols. The acetylation of thismixture, the chromatographic separation and crystallization of theresulting product afforded(2r,3aR,5R,6S,7aS)-octahydro-1H-indene-2,3a,5,6,7a-pentayl pentaacetateand (2r,3aR,5S,6R,7aS)-octahydro-1H-indene-2,3a,5,6,7a-pentaylpentaacetate.On the other hand, the corresponding adduct product was synthesized as aresult of cyclo addition reaction of naphthoquinone withacetoxybutadiene. The reduction of this compound with NaBH4 followed byacetylation of the reduced product with AcCl gave the three acetatederivative. The oxidation of this compound with OsO4?NMO fallowed by theacetylation of the resulting mixture with Ac2O in the presence ofpyridine gave pentaacetate derivative.(1S,2S,3S,9R,10S)-1,2,3,4,4a,9,9a,10-octahydroanthracene-1,2,3,9,10-pentaolwas synthesized by hydrolysis of pentaacetate with K2CO3 in MeOH. Thestructures of all synthesized compounds were characterized byspectroscopic methods.
