Özet
Mimarlık, tarihi boyunca resim, müzik ve tiyatro gibi birçok sanat dalı ile etkileşim içerisinde olmuştur. Diğer sanat dallarına göre çok daha yeni sayılabilecek sinema da, ilk çekilen filmle beraber mimarlık ile ilişki içerisine girmiştir. Bu çalışma mimarlık ve sinema arasındaki karşılıklı etkileşimi incelemeyi amaçlamıştır. Bu iki disiplin öncelikle kullandıkları ortak terminoloji ve yöntemsel etkileşim açısından incelenmiş daha sonra seçilen filmler üzerinden mekânsal değerlendirmeler yapılmıştırTez çalışmasında, mimarlık ve sinemanın mekân ve hareket üzerinden kurdukları bağ irdelenmiştir. Mekân üzerinden kurulan bağ incelenirken öncelikle mimarlıkta mekân, daha sonra sinemada mekân incelenmiştir. Bu iki disiplin arasındaki bağın her iki disipline kattığı faydalar ve bu bağın gelişiminin iki disiplin açısından önemi vurgulanmıştır.İncelecek filmler seçilirken, filmler kara filmlerden seçilmiştir. Bu sayede kara filmlerdeki mekân kullanımının filme kattığı görsel ve anlamsal faydalar üzerinde durulmuştur. Mekânsal değerlendirmeler ve yorumlar, Karanlık Şehir (Dark City, 1988), Taksi Şoförü (Taxi Driver, 1976) ve Polis(2006) filmleri üzerinden yapılmıştır.

Architecture has been interacted with a lot of art such as pictorial art, music and theater throughout the history. Cinema, which is supposed to be a newer art among others, has been interacted with architecture by the first movie was produced. This study aims to research the interrelations between architecture and cinema. These two disciplines were firstly examined considerig the methodological interaction and the common terminology they have used, then spatial evaluations were considered through the selected movies.In the study, the location and movement of architecture and the cinema was discussed on the bonds they have established. In examining the ties established through the space, first, the space in architecture and then the space in cinema were studied. The relations between these two disciplines that benefit both disciplines, and the importance of the development of relationship between the disciplines were emphasized.The movies which were selected for this researh, were chosen among the examples of film noirs. By this way, space usage that provides visual and semantic benefits to the film noirs were considered. The spacial considerations and the results were examined on the movies“Dark City”, 1988,“Taxi Driver”, 1976 and“Polis”, 2006.
