Özet
Bu araştırma Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Ebelik Bölümü 2., 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencileri (n=87) üzerinde yapıldı. İlk ev ziyaretini yapmadan önce öğrencilerin % 78,2'si heyecan, % 54,0'ü de korku ve yetersizlik hissettiğini ifade etmiştir. Öğrencilerin % 39,1'i ailelerin, evin dağınık olması gibi uygunsuz durumlarda o an için ziyareti kabul etmediğini, % 47,1'i de aile büyüklerinin ev ziyaretlerini uygun bulmadığını belirtmektedir. Öğrencilerin karşılaştıkları güçlüklerin başında adresi bulmakta zorluk ( % 63,2), ailenin ziyareti kabul etmemesi ( % 47,1) ve çeşitli güvenlik sorunları ( %19,5) gelmektedir. Öğrencilerin çoğunluğu ev ortamının öğretimi olumsuz etkilediğini belirtmiştir. Öğrencilerin % 74,7'si ev ziyaretleri uygulamasını yararlı bulduğunu belirtmiştir.

This research was conducted on the 2nd ,3rd and 4th class students (n=87) of Midwifery Department of Faculty of Medical Sciences at Cumhuriyet University. Before the home visits, 78,2 % of the students stated that they felt anxious and 54,0 % felt fear and inability. Students also stated that they were not welcomed in because of the mess in the houses at that moment ( 39,1 %), and were not accepted because of the absence of the heads of the families(47,1 %). The certain problems students faced during the home visits were; not being able to find the exact address 63,2%, family?s not accepting the visit (47,1%) and different security problems (19,5%). Majority of the students said that the home environment affected the learning negatively. The Midwifery students mostly told their problems about the home visits to the person in charge at school (48,3%). 74,7 of them stated that they found the home visits beneficial.
