Özet

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı ilköğretim okullarında Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretim Programında (FTÖP) yer alan Kuvvet ve Hareket ünitelerine yönelik basit araç gereçlerle geliştirilen rehber materyallerin kullanımı ve öğrenme çıktılarının günlük hayata aktarılma düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada ilköğretim ikinci kademe öğrencilerine FTÖP' de yer alan Kuvvet ve Hareket ünitesine yönelik basit araç gereçlerle geliştirilen rehber materyaller uygulanmış, öğrenme çıktılarının günlük hayatla ilişkilendirme düzeyleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.Çalışmada yarı deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin uygulama öncesindeki ve sonrasındaki seviyelerini ölçmek amacıyla ilgili üniteye yönelik ?Akademik Başarı Testi (ABT)? ve ?Günlük Hayatla İlişkilendirme Testi (GHİT)? ve yarı yapılandırılmış öğrenci mülakatları geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen testlerin ve rehber materyallerin pilot uygulaması yapılmış ve sonuçlar doğrultusunda gerekli düzeltmeler yapıldıktan sonra asıl uygulama gerçekleştirilmiştir. Uygulamada her sınıf düzeyinde bir kontrol bir deney grubu oluşturulmuştur. Deney gruplarına rehber materyal uygulanırken kontrol grupları normal öğretimlerine devam etmişlerdir. Uygulama sınıf düzeyine göre farklılık göstermekle birlikte ön test ve son test dahil olmak üzere yaklaşık 6 hafta sürmüştür. Her bir ölçme aracı örneklem gruplarına uygulanarak elde edilen verilerin analizi SPSS istatistik paket programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Uygulama öncesinde deney grubu ile kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin başlangıç seviyeleri aynı iken uygulama sonrasında elde edilen sonuçlara göre öğrencilerin başarıları ve öğrenim çıktılarının günlük hayatla ilişkilendirilmesinde deney grubu lehine anlamlı ve güçlü bir fark olduğu tespit edilmiştir.Bu çalışmanın bulguları ve literatürde bu konu ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalarda dikkate alınarak basit araç gereçlerle geliştirilen rehber materyallerin kullanılması ve öğrenme çıktılarının günlük hayata aktarılmasındaki katkısının geliştirilebilmesi için araştırmanın sonunda ilköğretim FTÖP uygulanmalarında basit araç ve gereçlerle rehber materyaller geliştirilerek kullanılmasının gerekliliği öneri olarak sunulmuştur.

The main purpose of this study is to investigate using of developed guide materials with simple materials for force and movement units existing in the curriculum of science and terchnology course, and to anlyse the levels of tarsfering learning outputs in to daily life. The study was carried out by developing guide materials from simple materials fort he force and movement units existing the programme of Science and Technology course for secondery school students, and it was tried to determine the levels of assocrating learning outputs with daily life, and then gained data were evaluated.In the study, semi-empirical method was used. In order to determine pre- and post-application levels of the students, ?Academic Achievement Test (AAT) and ?Association of Daily Life Test (ADLT) were developed, and semi-structured student interviews were carried out in the study. After the pilot application of developed tests and guide materials, and doing necessary corrections in the light of findings, the original application was conducted.In the application process, one control an done experimental group for each level of students were formed. Whileguide materials were used in the control groups during the course, in the experimental groups normal instruction was applied. Application charged according to class grades, and it lasted about 6 weeks with pre- and post-tests. Data gained from the application of each test on samples were analyzed with SPSS statistical programme. Before the application, the inital levels of both groups, control and experimental group students, were the same. But after the application process and gained data, it was found that there is a meaningful and strong difference in student achievements and association of guide materials with daily life in favor of experimental group.It was presented as a suggestion the necessity of being used by developing the guidance materials with the simple means in the (STTP) applications of the primary education at the end of the search to develop the contribution in the transhipment to the daily life of the learning outputs and to use the guidance materials which were developed with the simple means by being noticed the evidences of this study and also the studies related to this subject in the literature.
