Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı; değişen geometri öğretim programının uygulanmasında önemli rol oynayan matematik öğretmenlerinin; programı uygularken yaşadıkları olumlu ya da olumsuz durumları ortaya çıkararak, yaşanan sıkıntılara çözüm önerileri sunabilmektir.Çalışmanın ilk aşamasında, yeni geometri öğretim programı ile önceki geometri programı karşılaştırılarak dokuman analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci aşamasında ise 10 matematik öğretmeniyle yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yapılarak, öğretmenlerin yeni geometri öğretim programıyla ilgili yaşadığı sorunlar ve bu sorunların programın hangi öğesinden kaynaklandığı belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.Yapılan görüşmeler sonucunda öğretmenlerin yeni programla ilgili en büyük sorununun zaman sıkıntısı olduğu görülmüştür. Zaman sıkıntısını ortaya çıkarmak ve görüşmelere destek sağlamak için; öğretmenlerden öğrenci defteri ve sınav kâğıdı alınarak doküman incelemesi yapılmıştır. Defter ve sınav kâğıdı incelemesi sonucunda; öğretmenlerin programda yer alan konuları yetiştiremediği ve programa yeni eklenen konularla ilgili sınavlarda soru sormadıkları ortaya çıkmıştır.Tüm bu çalışmaların sonucunda; öğretmenlerin programda yer alan bazı konuları yetiştiremedikleri ve program uygulanmaya başlayalı 3 yıl olmasına rağmen, öğretmenlerin yeni programa uyum sağlayamamış oldukları ve tecrübe edindikleri eski geometri öğretim programına göre ders işledikleri görülmüştür.Uygulanmakta olan bu programın başarıya ulaşabilmesi için öğretmenlerin yeni geometri öğretim programında sorun yaşadığı durumların düzeltilip, özellikle bilgi almak istedikleri konularda uzman kişiler tarafından geniş zamanlı hizmet içi kurslar verilmelidir.

The purpose of this research is to display the positive and negative aspects which maths teachers, who have an important role in geometry teaching programme, experience while practising the programme and to give suggestions about the problems which have been dealt with.In the first step of the study, the new geometry teaching programme and the former geometry teaching programme have been compared and the documents have been analysed. In the second step of the study, 10 maths teachers have been interviewed and the problems that these teachers have dealt with, the new geometry teaching programme and the reasons why they have dealt with have been tried to be determined.As a result of these interviews, the biggest problem that the teachers dealt with about the new teaching problem is determined as the problem of timing. To reveal the problem of timing and to support the views of the teachers, the notebooks of the students and the exam papers have been taken and analysed. As a result of analysing the notebooks and exam papers, it has been noticed that the teachers weren't able to finish all the subjects and they did not ask any questions about the subjects which were newly added to the programme.As a result of all these studies, it has been concluded that the teachers were not able to finish some of the subjects and although the programme has been used for 3 years, the teachers hasn't entegrated to the new programme and they have been teaching according to the old programme which they experienced before.To be able to succeed in the programme which has been practised, the problems that the teachers have dealt with should be revised and the teachers have been taken to extended teacher training courses by the experts especially on the subjects which they want to get informed about.
