Özet
Araştırma, koroner arter bypass cerrahisi uygulanan hastalarda eğitim ve müziğin anksiyete düzeyi, iyileşme süreci ve yaşam kalitesine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yarı deneysel olarak yapıldı. Araştırmanın evrenini İstanbul ili içerisinde bulunan bir Vakıf Üniversitesi Hastanesi ve İstanbul ili içerisinde bir Eğitim - Araştırma Hastanesi?nde koroner arter bypass greft (KABG) uygulanan hastalar oluşturdu. Örneklemi 101 deney grubu, 113 kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 214 hasta oluşturdu. Veriler; hasta bilgi formu, hasta izlem formu, Durumluk-Sürekli anksiyete ölçeği, SF?36 yaşam kalitesi ölçeği aracılığıyla yüz yüze görüşme ve izlem yoluyla elde edildi. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde frekans, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma, pearson ki-kare testi, fisher exact test, independent samples t testi ve repeated measures Anova kullanıldı. Deney grubu hastalarında durumluluk anksiyete düzeyinin, ameliyat öncesi ve ameliyat sonrası klinikte kontrol grubundan daha az olduğu belirlendi. Deney grubu hastalarının yoğun bakım ve hastanede kalış sürelerinin kontrol grubuna göre daha az olduğu saptandı. Deney grubu hastalarının kan basıncı, kalp atım hızı, solunum sayısı ve vücut ısısında anlamlı bir düşüş olduğu görüldü. Deney grubu hastalarında yaşam kalitesi ölçeğinin tüm parametrelerinde kontrol grubu hastalarından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı şekilde yüksek olduğu saptandı. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular koroner arter bypass cerrahisinde eğitim ve müziğin anksiyete düzeyi, iyileşme sürecinin azalmasında ve yaşam kalitesinin artmasında etkili olduğunu göstermekte olup, KABG hastalarında uygulanması önerilmektedir. Effects of Education and Music on Anxiety, Healing Process and Quality of Life in Patients Undergoing CABG The research was applied on patients undergoing CABG as a quasi-experimental design to determine the effect of education and music on the level of anxiety, the healing process and quality of life. The study population located within the Foundation University Hospital and Training - Research Hospital in the province of Istanbul and included the patients undergoing CABG. Data was obtained by face-to-face interviews and follow-up using ?Patient Information Form?, ?Patient Follow-up Charts?, ?State-Trait Anxiety Inventory ? and ?SF-36 Quality of Life Scale?. Evaluation of the data frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson's chi-square test, Fisher's Exact test, Independent samples t-test and Repeated Measures ANOVA was used. Trait anxiety level of the experimental group patients in the pre-operative and post-operative clinic was lower than the control group. The experimental group of patients in ICU and hospital length of stay was found to be less than the control group. Blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate and body temperature were found to be significantly decreased on patients in the experimental group. All parameters of SF-36 Quality of Life Scale have been found to be significantly higher in the experimental group of patients than the control group of patients. The findings of the study showed that CABG guided education and music decrease the level of anxiety, reduce healing process and increase the quality of life and the implementation of this method in CABG patients is recommended.
